About the adventure
A storm is gathering off the coast of Massachusetts. Somewhere in the dark waters, the SS Champagne drifts in silence. When you board the stricken ocean liner searching for its passengers and crew, you find carnage, scattered survivors, unanswered questions—and something still hunting aboard the ship. What begins as a desperate mystery at sea soon leads back to shore and into a trail of murder, ancient secrets, and dangerous people pursuing something that should have remained buried. Your investigation will take you from the icy waters outside Boston to a New England fishing town and eventually into the wooded hills beyond Arkham. The Order of the Stone is a three-part 1920s Call of Cthulhu campaign combining investigation, exploration, survival horror, and an escalating race against a supernatural threat. Follow the clues, decide whom you can trust, and choose how far you're willing to go when the truth begins fighting back.

About me
👋 Hello, I’m Leo — a professional Game Master specializing in immersive horror roleplaying. With over 24 years of experience, I focus on delivering tense, atmospheric games built around investigation, dread, and meaningful player choice. My tables are designed for players who want suspense, strong narrative cohesion, and stories that linger long after the session ends. If you’re looking for carefully paced horror, deep immersion, and a GM who treats the game seriously while keeping it fun and welcoming — you’re in the right place. 🕯️ My Specialization: Horror & Investigative Play Horror is my main focus and strongest discipline. I specialize in games where atmosphere, mystery, and tension drive the experience: 🕵️ Call of Cthulhu – My signature system. From classic 1920s investigations to modern cosmic horror, I emphasize slow-burn dread, strong clues, and player-driven discovery. 🕶️ Delta Green – Psychological and conspiracy horror, where paranoia, secrecy, and moral pressure are as dangerous as the Mythos itself. 👽 ALIEN RPG – Cinematic survival horror in space: lethal, intense, and tightly paced, inspired by the tone of the films. My games prioritize investigation, character perspective, and narrative tension over mechanical complexity or power gaming. 🌍 About Me I’m bilingual — fluent in Spanish (native) and English — originally from Venezuela and currently based in Chile. I’ve run games for players across the USA, UK, and Spain, and I adapt my style to match each group’s experience level and expectations. I’m also a published writer, with three Call of Cthulhu scenarios released on Chaosium’s Miskatonic Repository, where my work has been praised for atmosphere, pacing, and table usability. 💡 What You Can Expect at My Table 🌑 Beginner-Friendly Horror – New players are welcome; I enjoy teaching systems and easing people into horror roleplaying. 🎭 Immersive Presentation – Atmospheric narration, music, and visual support when appropriate. 🧩 Player-Driven Investigation – Your choices matter; clever thinking is rewarded. ⏱️ Professional Reliability – Clear communication, preparation, and respect for everyone’s time. 🔥 Why Choose Me? 🕯️ Horror Specialist – Decades of experience running investigative and atmospheric horror. 📚 Published & Proven – Officially released Call of Cthulhu scenarios with real table use. 🎲 Narrative-First GMing – Focus on tension, mood, and meaningful decisions. 🤝 Respectful & Inclusive – A safe, collaborative table where everyone gets a voice. Ready to uncover dark secrets, face cosmic terror, or struggle to survive against impossible odds? Browse my available games or send me a message — I’d be glad to bring your next horror story to life. Let’s make something unforgettable together.

Creating your character
The campaign includes six pregenerated investigators designed specifically for the story: the crew of the FV Foggy Sea. I strongly recommend using them as our starting point, as their roles place the group naturally at the heart of the campaign from its opening moments. They aren't rigid characters you simply have to accept. During Session Zero, you'll be able to customize them, develop their backgrounds and personalities, adjust details, and make them your own. Creating an investigator from scratch is also possible, and we can work together to make sure your character fits naturally into the group and the campaign. A mix of customized pregenerated and original investigators is welcome. No previous Call of Cthulhu experience is required. I'll guide new players through everything they need to know.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
No homework is required. You do not need to study the Call of Cthulhu rules or read anything about the campaign beforehand. We’ll use Foundry VTT for the game and Discord for voice. Foundry requires no account or installation—you’ll receive an invitation link and join the game directly through your web browser. You’ll only need a free Discord account. Character details and any campaign-specific setup will be handled together during Session Zero. If you’re new to Call of Cthulhu, I’ll teach you what you need to know naturally as we play.
What Leopoldo "Leovor" Rueda brings to the table
I provide the complete campaign experience through Foundry VTT, with prepared maps, handouts, artwork, and visual aids to bring the investigation to life. I combine these with Theater of the Mind whenever it better serves the scene. Music, ambient sound, sound effects, NPC voices, and occasional voice effects help build atmosphere without getting in the way of the game. At the table, expect strong NPC characterization, investigation and roleplay, meaningful player choices, and room for creative solutions. I keep rulings quick and fair so the game keeps moving, and with 23+ years of GM experience, I’m comfortable adapting when players take the story somewhere unexpected. New to Call of Cthulhu? I’ll teach the system naturally as we play—no homework required.

How Leopoldo "Leovor" Rueda creates a safe table
The Order of the Stone is a horror campaign and may include disturbing themes, violence, death, and unsettling supernatural content. We’ll discuss expectations and boundaries during Session Zero. If something during play makes you genuinely uncomfortable, you can tell me at any time, publicly or privately. We can stop, take a break, discuss the situation, and decide together how to proceed. Horror can be intense for the characters while the real people at the table remain comfortable and respected. Breaks are always available when needed, and there is time for Debriefing after sessions if anyone wants to discuss what happened.
