About the adventure
The year is 1933. Across the world, strange forces are moving in the shadows—and somebody has to stand against them. You are agents of Caduceus, an international medical aid organization that sends its people wherever disease, disaster, and conflict strike. But behind its humanitarian mission lies another war: one fought against ancient conspiracies, impossible creatures, and secrets humanity was never meant to uncover. Your missions will take you around the globe, from war-torn Bolivia and the streets of New York to remote jungles, volcanic wilderness, ancient ruins, and places that should have remained lost. You'll investigate bizarre mysteries, confront cults and monsters, survive disasters, chase ancient secrets, and discover that the people sending you into danger may have secrets of their own. This is Pulp Cthulhu: fast, cinematic, dangerous, and larger than life. You're not a helpless investigator waiting for the darkness to consume you. You're a pulp hero who can chase it across the world, kick down its door, and fight back—while discovering that some horrors are much bigger than even you.

About me
👋 Hello, I’m Leo — a professional Game Master specializing in immersive horror roleplaying. With over 24 years of experience, I focus on delivering tense, atmospheric games built around investigation, dread, and meaningful player choice. My tables are designed for players who want suspense, strong narrative cohesion, and stories that linger long after the session ends. If you’re looking for carefully paced horror, deep immersion, and a GM who treats the game seriously while keeping it fun and welcoming — you’re in the right place. 🕯️ My Specialization: Horror & Investigative Play Horror is my main focus and strongest discipline. I specialize in games where atmosphere, mystery, and tension drive the experience: 🕵️ Call of Cthulhu – My signature system. From classic 1920s investigations to modern cosmic horror, I emphasize slow-burn dread, strong clues, and player-driven discovery. 🕶️ Delta Green – Psychological and conspiracy horror, where paranoia, secrecy, and moral pressure are as dangerous as the Mythos itself. 👽 ALIEN RPG – Cinematic survival horror in space: lethal, intense, and tightly paced, inspired by the tone of the films. My games prioritize investigation, character perspective, and narrative tension over mechanical complexity or power gaming. 🌍 About Me I’m bilingual — fluent in Spanish (native) and English — originally from Venezuela and currently based in Chile. I’ve run games for players across the USA, UK, and Spain, and I adapt my style to match each group’s experience level and expectations. I’m also a published writer, with three Call of Cthulhu scenarios released on Chaosium’s Miskatonic Repository, where my work has been praised for atmosphere, pacing, and table usability. 💡 What You Can Expect at My Table 🌑 Beginner-Friendly Horror – New players are welcome; I enjoy teaching systems and easing people into horror roleplaying. 🎭 Immersive Presentation – Atmospheric narration, music, and visual support when appropriate. 🧩 Player-Driven Investigation – Your choices matter; clever thinking is rewarded. ⏱️ Professional Reliability – Clear communication, preparation, and respect for everyone’s time. 🔥 Why Choose Me? 🕯️ Horror Specialist – Decades of experience running investigative and atmospheric horror. 📚 Published & Proven – Officially released Call of Cthulhu scenarios with real table use. 🎲 Narrative-First GMing – Focus on tension, mood, and meaningful decisions. 🤝 Respectful & Inclusive – A safe, collaborative table where everyone gets a voice. Ready to uncover dark secrets, face cosmic terror, or struggle to survive against impossible odds? Browse my available games or send me a message — I’d be glad to bring your next horror story to life. Let’s make something unforgettable together.

Creating your character
We'll create characters together during Session Zero. I'll guide you through building a Pulp Cthulhu hero suited to the campaign, so no previous Call of Cthulhu or Pulp Cthulhu experience is required. We'll also use Session Zero to establish the group, connect the heroes to one another, and make sure everyone has a reason to be working with Caduceus when the campaign begins. If you'd rather jump straight into the action, pregenerated heroes are also available.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll need a free Roll20 account and a free Discord account. We'll use Roll20 for the virtual tabletop and Discord for voice. No rules study or campaign homework is required before play. I'll teach Pulp Cthulhu naturally as we go and help with anything unfamiliar during Session Zero. A reasonably reliable internet connection is strongly recommended so voice and the VTT remain stable throughout the session. Once you join the game, I'll provide the Roll20 and Discord links you need.
What Leopoldo "Leovor" Rueda brings to the table
I provide a fully prepared Roll20 campaign with maps, handouts, character sheets, visual aids, and the published campaign material ready for play. I combine those tools with Theater of the Mind whenever it serves the scene better, plus music, sound effects, NPC characterization and voices, and occasional voice effects to bring the pulp action and Mythos horror to life. At my table, your ideas matter. I reward creative approaches and roleplay, keep rulings quick and fair, and let your choices and their consequences shape how the campaign unfolds rather than steering you toward predetermined solutions. With 23+ years of GM experience and Call of Cthulhu as one of my strongest systems, I can teach new players naturally while keeping the game moving for experienced players.

How Leopoldo "Leovor" Rueda creates a safe table
The Two-Headed Serpent mixes cosmic horror with intense pulp action and can include disturbing themes, violence, body horror, and other mature material. We'll use Session Zero to discuss expectations, tone, boundaries, and anything players would prefer not to encounter in the game. If something unexpected becomes uncomfortable during play, just let me know—publicly or privately. We can stop, take a break, adjust the scene, or discuss how to proceed. You never need to justify why something is uncomfortable. My goal is for the fiction to be dangerous and disturbing while the people at the table remain comfortable and respected. We can also debrief after sessions whenever needed.
