About the adventure
This is a pulp mystery story, taking place within the Mojave Wasteland setting, using the recently released Royal Flush quest book. Thoughout this campaign you will meet the mysterious Bellway family in the newly opened Emerald Star Casino, where few you enter ever wish to leave. Mr. House and the families from the New Vegas strip are suspicous of their quick rise and are desparate for information, or if you so choose, sabotage. This is a campaign open to anyone regardless of experience level. I will happily teach any and al rules as we come across them, for instance the new gambling rules will be available, but if you never gamble, I won't need to teach you that. The most important thing in my campaigns is making sure that your character feels the way you want it to, and making sure that we tell a fun and interesting story. That means I want to make sure you understand the tools at your disposal, so I will take time to teach.

About me
Hi, I'm Tyler, I have been playing rpgs since 2012, and have been gming since 2015. I got my start in 4th edition dungeons and dragons, now I play a wide variety of games. I love to run immersive, character driven stories, that encourage players to make interesting decisions. I think that the role-playing table is meant to create interesting stories between everyone at the table, and help to push creativity. I love teaching new players, and learning new systems, let me know if there is one you are interested in trying and I would love to help you fulfill it.

Creating your character
Here are the options I offer: Pre-genned Characters with built in ties to the story Character Architypes that you can build your personal story around or make minor tweaks Full Character Creation, if you choose this, you will meet with me separately to go through your idea so I can make sure that your character has connections within the story. If enough players would like to make their own, I will instead do this collectively to save time.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please have a discord account, this is where we will hold our regular sessions. Also, please make a roll 20 account, I will be using this for the maps and any virtual dice rolls that you perform. If you are rolling physical dice, you should ideally have 2 d20s and a handful of d6s.
What Tyler brings to the table
I will be performing as the various characters throughout the campaign using a variety of voices, at certain points, sound-effects may also be involved. For how the game plays, I like to gm based on my players. For instance, if we have a lower level of experience with rpgs in our party, I probably wouldn't worry about the more complex rules of a system. Combat I like to use combat as the reward for reaching certain points in the story. This means that you get more planned and balanced combats but also that there are less pre-written into the campaign. With this being more political intrigue based, I wouldn't expect to be fighting all the time depending on your decisions and how you choose to approach it.
Homebrew rules
There are no standard homebrew rules that I use for this system, but if one makes sense for our session and the table agrees on it, I am open to making one.

How Tyler creates a safe table
I will send out a lines and veils form for everyone to fill out prior to the campaign beginning. This will be a digital form that will only be visible to me, prior to the first session, I will go over the full list of lines and veils without any identifying factors so that everyone knows the boundaries they should stay within. Additionally, I check in with my players after every session to see how it went for them, if we need to amend anyone's lines and veils.
