About the adventure
Settle into the Free State of Night City, home to both the world's first Combat Zone and it's largest Corporate HQ. Start your own faction from the ground up and choose between one of four ideologies. Build your own base and grow your ideas into reality, doing more than just Edgerunner gigs. Learn to really *live* in this world. Survive the Fourth Corporate War from its beginning to its precipice. Experience everything from the dirty espionage and planned paratrooper attacks of the Shadow War to full-scale invasions and carpet bombings of the Hot War. Interact with such icons as Johnny Silverhand, Rogue, Santiago, Adam Smasher and even...Morgan Blackhand. Take drugs, suffer from Cyberpsychosis and love. Do whatever it takes to make it 'till the next sunrise.

About me
I like being everywhere: I’ve started with Cyberpunk, but I’ve dabbled with Vampire, Hunter, Silt Verses, F.I.S.T., even trying my hand at some Pirate TTRPGs. I love titles where I can reward my players mechanically for acting according to their character, for doing good roleplay. I believe that the only way to find out things about yourself is through imagining characters. There's a little bit of ourselves in those characters and that agency helps us approach the darkest parts of our soul from a safe distance. My favorite part of GM-ing is worldbuilding. Expect decrepit descriptions of desolate dumps, vivid visual graphics, suave sounds (music, ambience and everything in-between). I love to stimulate all the senses and tell a story through all the mediums. At the end of the day, the GM and the players are engaging in collaborative storytelling, with the GM serving as a guide through their world. When the players and the GM have a connection – “chemistry” – the system is augmented by their roleplay, no matter what it is.

Creating your character
Characters are created using standard Neon City Overdrive rules. However, Characters begin with 4 Trademarks and 8 Edges. Character Sheets are available via the wiki, at https://gman-cyberpunk.vercel.app/img/NCO-sheet.html Once you create your character, save via cloud (using an ID of your choice) and let me know so I can provide feedback on it.
Two players already have their characters: Hex is an ex-Militech Techie. Read more about him: https://gman-cyberpunk.vercel.app/crew/other/hex-public/ Ray Null is a revolutionary Nomad. Read more about him: https://gman-cyberpunk.vercel.app/crew/other/ray-public/
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Prospecting players will contact @aj_gman via Discord. Afterwards, we'll have a short call discussing expectations and experience. You will receive the link to the Discord server which will be hosting the campaign. Everything else, like rules and VTT, are available via the Wiki, at https://gman-cyberpunk.vercel.app/
What G-man brings to the table
We run Cyberpunk 2020 (and, to a lesser extent, RED) in terms of lore and setting, but we use Neon City Overdrive for interacting with the universe. Neon City Overdrive is a system that is inherently creative and encourages Cool actions, giving agency to the player, not to the sheet. We strive to do as much worldbuilding as possible. To that end, the Wiki (https://gman-cyberpunk.vercel.app/) has an interactive Map of Night City based off of the Sourcebooks for 2020 & 2045 and countless webpages detailing the rules and lore of our game, past, present and future. I use ambience & music via Kenku.FM on Discord and I also post pictures every session for locations and NPCs both on Owlbear Rodeo (VTT) and Discord. Players will be able to view past sessions via the Threads in Discord, retracing their steps to the present. I want to stress this aspect: I play to FIND OUT. I love my players because they are creative and because its their story. I provide the playground and I'm happy to see how they roleplay their approach and their reaction to the consequences of their actions.they approach a
Homebrew rules
We have two homebrewed rules explained in the Wiki: Cyberware, which is Special Gear (in Neon City Overdrive), but with a Cyberpsychosis mechanic and even more agency https://gman-cyberpunk.vercel.app/rules/cpred/cyberware/cyberware/ Basebuilding, which is a mechanic currently in development for the campaign. https://gman-cyberpunk.vercel.app/rules/basebuilding/

How G-man creates a safe table
Lines and Veils are discussed at the beginning of the first session and are kept in a Google Docs for easy access. Breaks occur at the half waypoint of the session and last 10-15 minutes. Players may also leave for any reason without penalty, but I smile upon a later message regarding what happened. We are accommodating of scheduling issues and we can sometimes start ±1h from the proposed time. After the session, we talk for ~30 minutes, dealing with Bleed, discussing the session and offering feedback around the table (both for players and the storyteller). We achieve this while also using the Stars & Wishes framework so we can give feedback constructively.
