About the adventure
This is one for the rascals with sticky fingers and hearts of gold, the rapscalions who duels for honor, the clever rogues who moves in the shadows and snatch kills at the right moment. Those who listen at doors, don costumes, lie through their teeth, those who craft poisons meticulously, draw maps, take their time. This is one for the lovers of heists. Keys from the Golden Vault is run like an anthology. It's a collection of 13 stories that we will connect together through your character's personal stories. The Golden Vault is a shadow organization hired across Multiverse to... remove objects from situations. And your character will be someone who is a part of the Golden Vault. The Nine Hells, the Feywilds, Icewindale, are but example of where our adventures will take us, and each mission will take your character a level higher. This game focuses more on strategy, intel gathering, planning, and roleplay than on combat. You can be of any level to join. As far as the version we will be playing at, I am more comfortable with the 2014 rules, but for creation I am quite flexible; just let me know what ruleset you want to play by.

Meet the Game Master
About me
I was 14 years old when I played D&D for the first time. It was a school group with a nerdy teacher who opened his class during lunch time so like minded folks could meet. I started as a human cleric in a 3.5 setting. I will always remember my first game. Fast forward to college I got to meet incredible friends and amazing players. We had a blast with the 4th edition. I experienced my first homebrew world where I played a Longtooth Shifter cleric. What a tank she was. Then I played a druid hamadryad in Dark Sun. Unfortunately, we never got to finish the campaign, like so many others! How many loved character sheets are abandonned in my keepsake box? Way too many... Getting nostalgic now! Then came the 5th edition. A breath of fresh air. For me, it was a return to my roots. Steamlined, clear, less technical. I love love love it. I am currently a DM in a homebrew campaign. I have great players who come every week. It's awesome, but I need more. It's like an addiction. A beautiful one.

Creating your character
We will build your characters together, and I must approve them. I am quite flexible with what I allow at the table. Only official material, 2014 or 2024. No silvery barbs, no lucky feat. Stats are rolled through roll20 with a macro.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We'll use Discord for audio (video optional) and Roll20 for the VTT.
What Myriam brings to the table
I enjoy having a lot of visual references when I play so I spend lots of time creating visuals for my games. Maps, portraits, other environments. I'm a visual artist, and I pour countless hours into my games to bring them to life. I also create playlists to create an entertaining ambiance. In general, my games are roleplay-heavy, but I enjoy challenging combats, so when we have those, I throw in mechanics to keep my players on their toes. I will always encourage outside-of-the-box thinking, and the rule of cool is a must at my table as long as it's cool for everyone.
Homebrew rules
I use a modified critical hits table, and I have a couple of homebrew rules that I will explain before the game, but nothing too expansive.

How Myriam creates a safe table
I use the consent RPG checklist, and I have an open-door policy. You can come to me anytime about anything. I want my players to feel comfortable at the table, and I take feedback seriously. After every game, we take 5-10 minutes to debrief and go over the game. If, for any reason, a player isn't comfortable speaking in front of everyone, they can come to me, and I have no problem dealing with issues like adults.
