About the adventure
We'll be using the adventures from the "Tales from the Lone-Lands" collection. These are 6 interconnected stories that cross the breadth of this forsaken part of the world. Set in the bleak, forgotten stretches of Eriador, The One Ring leads your party into the haunted ruins of fallen kingdoms like Angmar and Rhudaur in the time after The Hobbit, but before The Lord of the Rings, as the Shadow quietly reclaims the north. Moving away from high-magic tropes, the story focuses on oppressive atmosphere, grueling travel mechanics, and ancient horrors slumbering in forgotten tombs. Here, your heroes will thwart the machinations of the Shadow and get a good taste of what The One Ring is about!

Characters will be created using the core book and will be at the beginning of their careers.

Preparing for the session
Have a working mic and Discord account. We'll create characters on Discord prior to Session 1. You'll need a Sqyre account as well.
What Simon brings to the table
We'll use Discord for voice and probably Foundry for VTT. I'll aim for ambience and Rules as Written.
