I have played in several games with Robert over the years and I highly recommend him for your DMing needs. I played in a game of Dark Sun using the 5th edition of D&D. I have played in several games of Robert's over the years of Dark Sun and of D&D Adventurer's League. Robert is always well prepared for his games, while remaining open to changing the direction of the adventure based on player actions. Last night, we attacked a camp ran by a mage. We chose to use a stealth attack that we planned and executed well. It made the encounter easier than it could have been. It could have gone very bad if we didn't execute well and some DMs would simply make the enemies notice us to run the encounter the way they had originally planned to. Robert does like to make his encounters challenging for the players and there have been times that the group came through by the skin of our teeth. Fantasy Grounds is Robert's virtual tabletop of choice and he has expert level knowledge of he software. He is always willing to help players use the software correctly. He is also very knowledgable about the game systems and settings he runs. Robert always makes sure to include everyone in the game. If you are a bit shy or don't like to interrupt the other players, you will still get a chance to role-play and provide input.
