About the adventure

You and your companions have been busy lately, and it's time for a break! Luckily, you find yourselves just outside of the town of Merrymoor in Midsummer! The town of Merrymoor is famous for its Harvest Festival, gathering people from nearby towns to share in the bounty that the year has brought. It is notorious for providing fantastic home-baked goods, home-grown produce, and for featuring amazing local talent performing throughout the festival. What should have been a nice respite for you and your companions goes awry, however, as strange occurrences begin to pop up throughout the festival, calling your group into action! Can you figure out the cause of the strange happenings, or is the festival doomed to succumb to the madness? In this single-session adventure, you will learn: The fundamental basics of Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition (2024 version). The difference between roleplay and roll-play (using the stats on your sheet vs. improvisational conversations/reactions). The joys of telling a story as a group. What are all these dice, and what are they for?

About me

Adam (Legend Weaver) has been playing Dungeons and Dragons since elementary school. Since then, he's played several different role-playing games, both in-person and online. He spent several years running a Vampire LARP in his city and has hundreds of hours of storytelling and game-running experience. Critical Role brought him back to the world of Dungeons and Dragons, and he enjoys being both behind the screen and in the trenches with other players. As an actor and singer, Adam enjoys telling stories, and this just adds to the list of stories he can help tell. He uses his theatre training to add creative NPCs and descriptions to enhance the player experience as much as possible. We now have a Discord Community server!
