About the adventure
Welcome stay at home parents! Is it difficult to find time for yourself while you're at home with a child or find something to do in the small time when the kids are at school? Come join another stay at home mom and play some Dungeons and Dragons 5E for two hours while the baby is down for a nap and you're finally grabbing something to eat. Our adventure is simple: "You're a parent in Faerun with a grown child that has decided to go off and be an adventurer. It's The Golden Hour Festival, a day spent outdoors with good food, games, prizes, and dancing. You and your child used to enjoy this festival, but they've grown out of it. This year, your child promised that they would come home for the festival as a break from adventuring. But when they don't show up, it's time to pick up a sword again or for the first time with the other adventurers' parents and set out to find your kids and bring them home safely." This is an easy to join game, slow paced, and a safe space to bring a child to the table if they're being fussy, need to be fed, or you have to step away. You may be a parent, but you can still go on adventures!

About me
Hi there! It's me, Nikki! I am a 30 year old black/white bisexual that uses She/Her pronouns. I've been running table top games since 2013. I love running games for new and beginning players, helping them learn the system, what they can do and show them how imaginative and exciting TTRPGs can be! It started with a friend wanting to play pathfinder for the first time and he had no one to run for him and his friends. I asked him if he was cool with me running a Disney princess inspired game. The group was enthusiastic about the game idea, and now I had all these punk rock, tatted, pierced guys, playing magical princess in pathfinder. I feel in love with the games and community and never looked back. I mostly run D&D 5E with other systems, like Thirsty Sword Lesbians, For the Queen, Monster Hearts 2, and A Proper Yearning in a Time of Uncertainty, and many more. I'm one of the founders of SlaydiesATL, a streaming group built by and for femme presenting and nonbinary people of color, with most of our streams uploaded on to youtube under SlaydiesATL. I used to run D&D games in person at bars before the pandemic, free drop in oneshots for all experience levels as well as 5 several month to years long campaigns completed under my belt. I use safety tools in all my games, check ins, and after game talks. In my normal day to day, I'm a stay at home mom of two, crocheting while watching bad movies, and enjoying monster romance books. Creating your character
- Level 1 characters will be made at session 0. If players wish to already have a character made beforehand, they can use anything the 2024 Player Handbook for Race, Class, and Background and add it to the DndBeyond campaign link. - Premade characters are also provided. - For stats, we will be rolling 4d6 drop the lowest 6 times. If stats are not good, player may use Standard Array (numbers already provided by DnD Beyond).

Players must have: - A working webcam - A working microphone - A free DnDbeyond account to join the Campaign Link provided. - A discord name to join the discord game channel where we will use the voice channel for the session.

I will provide: - The DnDbeyond campaign link. - DnD Beyond Maps. - Shareable content for the Players to use for building their own character sheet. - I will also provide the discord server game and voice channel. - Ambient music to heighten immersion. - Sessions can be recorded and placed unlisted on YouTube for notetaking purposes.

How Nikki The Goblin GM creates a safe table
Players can expect: - A slow paced, safe space, easy adventure, geared towards parents at home with small children. - Plenty of time for breaks or stepping away. - There will be a consent form to be filled out before session 0 . - Session 0 that must be completed with DM. - We will go over the consent form and establish lines and veils before character creation and before session 1. - Anonymous Editable Lines and Veils Document. - X or Red, Yellow, and Green safety cards encouraged during gameplay. - Frequent check-ins during and after game as well as open door policy always enforced.
