About the adventure

Inspired by Attack on Titan. Humanity survives behind towering walls, but the cracks are beginning to show. Titans loom beyond the battlements—mindless, towering, unstoppable—and every day the pressure builds. Your squad stands at the center of a city bracing for disaster: narrow streets packed with terrified civilians, garrison troops scrambling to reinforce failing gates, and commanders demanding answers no one has. As rumors spread of Titans gathering in unprecedented numbers, you’re tasked with uncovering what’s driving them, navigating political tension inside the walls, and defending the last remnants of civilization. You’ll train with omni movement gear, scout beyond the perimeter, confront the horrors waiting in forests and ruins, and make choices that determine whether the city endures or collapses. Missions will push you deeper into danger and closer to the truth behind the Giants’ movements. This campaign blends high‑intensity action, mystery, and survival. Stand your ground and face giants that hunger for the fall of humanity.

Homebrew rules

Magic for this campaign should be flavored as technology. ## Omni-Directional Maneuvers Gear *Wondrous item, uncommon (requires proficiency in Acrobatics or Athletics)* This compact dual‑canister propulsion harness uses compressed gas and grappling anchors to propel the wearer through the air with extreme agility. The gear has 20 charges, which fully replenish when the canisters are replaced or refilled. **Activation** As a Bonus Action, you expend 1–4 charges and immediately move a distance based on the number of charges spent: **Charges Spent Movement Gained** 1 charge 20 ft 2 charges 35 ft 3 charges 45 ft 4 charges 50 ft This movement: - does not provoke opportunity attacks - must follow a line or curve anchored to a surface within 60 ft - can include vertical or diagonal movement - ignores difficult terrain You must end your movement on a surface capable of supporting your weight (ground, rooftop, wall ledge, tree limb, titan flesh, etc.). ### Anchor Shot (Reaction) When you fall, are thrown, or would drop more than 10 ft, you may expend 1 charge to fire an anchor at a surface within 60 ft. If the surface is valid, you stop falling and swing to a stable position within 10 ft of the anchor point. If the anchor has no valid target, the charge is wasted. ### Evade (Reaction) When you would normally be hit with an attack by a Large or larger creature and you have used fewer than 4 charges, you can expend a charge to instead immediately move up to 20 ft. When you do so, the triggering attack automatically misses. ### Aerial Strike (Action) Immediately after using ODM movement, you may make one melee attack as part of the same Action. If you moved at least 35 ft during your turn, you gain: - Advantage on the attack - +1d6 slashing damage on a hit - If you moved 45 ft or more, increase the bonus damage to +2d6. If you moved 50 ft, increase the bonus damage to +3d6, but the attack triggers a Dexterity saving throw (DC 12) to avoid overextending. On a failure, you end your turn prone begin falling. Scrolls: Using a spell scroll is an Arcana check: use 10 + spell level − your max spell level if it’s on your list, otherwise use 10 + 2×spell level − your caster level. The action required to use a spell scroll is the action required to cast the spell or 1 action, whichever is less. Potions of Healing: • Bonus Action (in combat): Roll the potion’s healing dice. • Action or Out of Combat: Take the potion’s maximum healing value. Cleaving: If a melee attack drops a creature to 0 HP and you dealt excess damage, you may apply the leftover damage to another target in reach that the original attack roll would have hit. Flanking: You gain +2 to melee attack rolls if: • An ally is directly opposite you on the target, or • You have three or more allies adjacent to the same enemy.

Safety

How Narrator AP creates a safe table

Every session can be a session 0. I use a session opener that encourages players to use/update their safety tool preferences on an ongoing basis. Also included is the ability of players to create private and/or public threads where they need only state their safety tool concerns and I will avoid it and do my best to steer the players away from said concern and handle any desired discussion of the topic to the best of my ability and seek feedback from the concerned where and when necessary before doing so.
