About the adventure
The hills of Vermont are calling Miskatonic University back. In the summer of 1930, you are part of a university research expedition bound for the rural town of Cobb’s Corners. The assignment sounds straightforward: study the region’s geology, collect its folklore, and continue work begun by an earlier expedition. But that expedition ended with one student dead and two others missing. What begins as an academic field trip grows into a campaign of investigation, strange science, buried secrets, and cosmic horror stretching far beyond the Vermont hills. You’ll investigate mysteries, build relationships with fellow students and townsfolk, follow clues wherever they lead, and face discoveries that may permanently change your investigators—and the people around them. A Time to Harvest is a full-length Call of Cthulhu campaign combining university life, rural mystery, exploration, investigation, and escalating Mythos horror. New investigators are welcome: no previous Call of Cthulhu experience is required, and the rules will be taught naturally as we play.

About me
👋 Hello, I’m Leo — a professional Game Master specializing in immersive horror roleplaying. With over 24 years of experience, I focus on delivering tense, atmospheric games built around investigation, dread, and meaningful player choice. My tables are designed for players who want suspense, strong narrative cohesion, and stories that linger long after the session ends. If you’re looking for carefully paced horror, deep immersion, and a GM who treats the game seriously while keeping it fun and welcoming — you’re in the right place. 🕯️ My Specialization: Horror & Investigative Play Horror is my main focus and strongest discipline. I specialize in games where atmosphere, mystery, and tension drive the experience: 🕵️ Call of Cthulhu – My signature system. From classic 1920s investigations to modern cosmic horror, I emphasize slow-burn dread, strong clues, and player-driven discovery. 🕶️ Delta Green – Psychological and conspiracy horror, where paranoia, secrecy, and moral pressure are as dangerous as the Mythos itself. 👽 ALIEN RPG – Cinematic survival horror in space: lethal, intense, and tightly paced, inspired by the tone of the films. My games prioritize investigation, character perspective, and narrative tension over mechanical complexity or power gaming. 🌍 About Me I’m bilingual — fluent in Spanish (native) and English — originally from Venezuela and currently based in Chile. I’ve run games for players across the USA, UK, and Spain, and I adapt my style to match each group’s experience level and expectations. I’m also a published writer, with three Call of Cthulhu scenarios released on Chaosium’s Miskatonic Repository, where my work has been praised for atmosphere, pacing, and table usability. 💡 What You Can Expect at My Table 🌑 Beginner-Friendly Horror – New players are welcome; I enjoy teaching systems and easing people into horror roleplaying. 🎭 Immersive Presentation – Atmospheric narration, music, and visual support when appropriate. 🧩 Player-Driven Investigation – Your choices matter; clever thinking is rewarded. ⏱️ Professional Reliability – Clear communication, preparation, and respect for everyone’s time. 🔥 Why Choose Me? 🕯️ Horror Specialist – Decades of experience running investigative and atmospheric horror. 📚 Published & Proven – Officially released Call of Cthulhu scenarios with real table use. 🎲 Narrative-First GMing – Focus on tension, mood, and meaningful decisions. 🤝 Respectful & Inclusive – A safe, collaborative table where everyone gets a voice. Ready to uncover dark secrets, face cosmic terror, or struggle to survive against impossible odds? Browse my available games or send me a message — I’d be glad to bring your next horror story to life. Let’s make something unforgettable together.

Creating your character
We’ll create investigators together during Session Zero. Your investigator will be a student or member of the academic community at Miskatonic University, with a reason to join a university research expedition to rural Vermont. A wide range of academic backgrounds and character concepts can work, and you do not need to worry about building the “perfect” investigator or covering a particular party role. During character creation, we’ll also establish connections between the investigators and some of their fellow students at Miskatonic. They might be friends, classmates, acquaintances, rivals, or simply familiar faces around campus. These relationships will help make your investigator part of the university community from the beginning. New to Call of Cthulhu? No problem. I’ll guide you through the entire process and explain the rules as we create your investigator.
Session Zero is done. Next session starts the first chapter. Still you can join and will help with character creation that will fit the current party during the week before the next sessionmm¿¿
What to expect
Preparing for the session
No previous Call of Cthulhu experience or rules knowledge is required. We’ll create characters and go over everything you need during Session Zero. After that, just bring your investigator, your curiosity, and a willingness to investigate places sensible people would probably leave alone. We’ll play online using our VTT and Discord for voice. You’ll need free accounts for the services we use; I’ll provide the necessary game invitation links before we play. A reasonably stable internet connection is recommended for a smooth session. No campaign reading, setting research, or other homework is required.
What Leopoldo "Leovor" Rueda brings to the table
I bring over 23 years of Game Master experience and a love for investigative horror, atmosphere, and memorable characters. I provide the prepared campaign material, maps, handouts, artwork, and visual aids where they enhance the game, while using Theater of the Mind when it better serves the scene. Music, sound effects, NPC voices, and occasional voice effects help bring the world and its characters to life. Expect a game where investigation, roleplaying, and creative ideas matter. I reward clever approaches, adapt to player decisions, and prefer quick, fair rulings over stopping the game to search through rulebooks. If you're new to Call of Cthulhu, I'll teach you what you need naturally as we play. Experienced investigators can simply settle in and start digging into the mystery.

How Leopoldo "Leovor" Rueda creates a safe table
Horror works best when the characters are uncomfortable—not the players. We’ll use Session Zero to establish expectations, tone, boundaries, and anything the group would prefer to avoid or keep off-screen. A Time to Harvest contains potentially disturbing material involving children, including situations where children may commit or be subjected to violence. This is an important enough element of the campaign that I want players to be aware of it before joining rather than discovering it unexpectedly during play. If something unexpected causes genuine discomfort during play, just let me know. You can speak up at the table or message me privately at any time. We can stop, take a break, discuss the situation, and adjust how we proceed. Call of Cthulhu can explore disturbing subjects and put investigators through terrible situations, but everyone at the table should still feel comfortable and respected. I’m also available after sessions if anyone wants to discuss something that happened during the game. Safety tools: Session Zero · Breaks · Debriefing
