About the adventure

A homebrew world untouched by players - pristine zones, unmuddied waters, and unexplored reaches. This world is in the early Iron Age, no firearms, and undead are rare due to the wild magic - which fluctuates by the time of year! Game will have a dark gothic feel, with humanoids, fey, magical beasts, and living foes being prevalent. A game suitable for those familiar with Pathfinder 1st Edition and FoundryVTT, especially those who are both 21+ in age and accepting of all walks of life when it comes to game time.

About me

I'm hosting games for Pathfinder 1st edition, largely because I've noticed there aren't a lot of people hosting these games. I've been a DM for over twenty years, and have the philosophy that the game is meant to be something fun for everyone involved. I try and make games that have something for every player. I run modules, both bought and homebrewed.

Character creation

Creating your character

Once you join the game, you will be given access to the Campaign Document (with available races, house rules, and setting description) and the Crimson Coin document (the means to augment and alter your characters). Starting at 3rd level, 25 point buy; you start with 3,000 gp and a cap of 600 crimson coins that can be spent at character creation on Common and Origin purchases. Approved backstory garners an extra 1,000 gp and an extra 100 cc cap for character creation. First characters made gaina credit of 600 crimson coins (an extra 100 with an approved backstory). You can have two traits from approved books, and get a free Campaign trait (in the Campaign Document). Core, Base, Hybrid, Occult, and Unchained classes are allowed; you are allowed one archetype per class you possess. Firearms are not allowed.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

I run on FoundryVTT and host the game, just ask that you do me a solid and have some kind of document to keep notes relevant to your character. I suggest Google Docs, but to each their own. For character art, nothing NSFW. Otherwise, go nuts.

What GM brings to the table

NPCs, homebrew spells, magic items, races, and a world built by 20+ years of over 100 different players making lasting changes.

Homebrew rules

I use Elephant in the Room and Crimson Coins. Elephant in the Room helps players reduce feat bloat, and is just nice to have. Crimson coins allow you to spend a unique currency to gain features from monsters and classes you do not have.

Safety

How GM creates a safe table

Session 0 is free, where we meet and discuss character options and what route the camapign will take. I do Aftercare, breaking down the session at the end of the night. I have an Open Door policy for 5 days out of the week - message me through Discord and I will help address concerns via text. Every session, there is a 20 minute break. I also have a weekly Recap, where I explain the last session to the players so that they are caught up to speed.
