About the adventure

Cialara has survived for ages because the sacred Towers remain sealed. When the cycle turns, one Chosen One must complete five of the twenty regional Towers and then face the Tower of Salvation before those holy structures become gateways for demons and devils. You are not the Chosen One. You are the adventuring party entrusted with getting them there alive. Your group chooses which five Towers will define the campaign. Each lies in a different culture, landscape, and political system, and each tests more than combat. Expect dangerous dungeons, travel, puzzles, negotiations, sponsorships, local favors, resource decisions, and battles where clever solutions matter as much as damage. The catch is that every completed Tower changes the Chosen One. A victory may take pride, certainty, comfort, trust, or another deeply human quality. At first the changes can seem subtle. By the time Salvation draws near, the person you began protecting may no longer be the same person walking beside you. The campaign begins at 3rd level in Emberstone Village, a mining settlement in the desert-and-mountain continent of Maglution. Your first destination is the Tower of the High Anvil, where broken things are judged: should they be reforged, replaced, or preserved as warnings? This is a homebrew D&D 5e campaign built around player choice and party cooperation. Characters can advance through Tower milestones or spend shared resources and downtime on training to gain levels early. Money matters: passage, food, lodging, magic items, equipment, training, and favors all compete for the same party treasury. Sponsorships can open doors, fund expeditions, secure travel, or provide training—but every sponsor wants something in return. You can expect: - A level 3–11 campaign with five player-selected Towers plus the Tower of Salvation. - A strong mix of roleplay, exploration, tactical combat, dungeon trials, and moral decisions. - A recurring Chosen One NPC whose personality visibly changes based on the Towers you complete. - Regional cultures, shops, travel, guilds, reputations, and sponsorships that make the world matter between dungeons. Custom races, gods, magic, equipment, and optional homebrew systems from the Game Master's Arsenal setting. - Player agency at the center: the party chooses the route, how to solve problems, who to trust, and what sacrifices are acceptable. You do not need to play a prophecy character or carry the story alone. Your job is harder in another way: stand beside the person chosen by the heavens, help them survive what the gods demand, and decide whether saving the world is worth hollowing the person meant to save it. Cialara needs a Chosen One. The Chosen One needs you.

Character creation

Creating your character

📜The main thing we use to create a character is using DnDBeyond. Additionally I do have pre-made characters for you to use in FoundryVTT as well. So no worries and no pressure. 📚 Only official books are permitted. #️⃣ I use my point buy system. All stats start at 8 and you have 27 points to place wherever. All points cost one point and the max you can put into one score is 10 (making a max of 18) after all 27 points are used then add your racial points. ❓ If you have questions or need help please don't hesitate to ask for help through either here or on my discord.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

🎙) A reliable mic. 🌐) Using either Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. 🎲) Opportunity to customize your dice to your liking. 🧙‍♀️) We can make one together, if you like or you can use a pre-made character. 🧙‍♂️) If you create your own character, I will need a link from DndBeyond. 📖) A few easy house rules to give a rule of cool feel which will be provided on my website.

We are patient and kind first before before becoming gently firm and absolute protective.
