About the adventure
A simple stone staircase attached to nothing… You and your friends almost missed it as it was a little off the beaten trail you were hiking along. Almost. Something about it caught your eye, tucked back into the tangle of vines and trees as it was. As you approached you could see that the overgrown wilds of the forest had not managed to grow over the staircase. In fact, it remained free of the many vines and thorny branches that reached out to scratch you as you pushed past them to get a closer look. It must have been attached to a building once…long ago. Interesting that only the staircase remains. So…will you climb it? Or will you and your group decide to return home…always wondering what was at the top of those moss covered steps? Rules light, story focused CYPHER will have you up and playing fast. Less time on the mechanics means more time to play. About me
Remember Max from "Where the Wild Things Are"? He's my spirit animal and I build worlds and run games for everyone who wants to escape the world for a little while and play amongst the wild things. How KimPossible creates a safe table
I take this very seriously. This is a light horror game, and it's my job to ensure everyone at my table is comfortable enough to enjoy themselves. Everyone is welcome at my table, except for those who disregard the comfort and needs of others. I have a zero tolerance policy for: • Bigotry or hatred of any kind. • Any behavior that consistently compromises game play or consistently makes other players uncomfortable. Any Player versus Player encounter (combat or romance) will need to be cleared with both players and me prior to advancing in game. I will ask that everyone fill out a Lines and Veils form and submit it to me at least two days prior to game play so that I can adjust any content necessary due to identified issues. My private messaging will remain open during game play and I will be encouraging everyone to message me immediately if anything, whether it is with the story, me or another player, is making them uncomfortable. I will pause game play immediately with a break in order to respond. There are not many content warnings for this game, but if they do come up, I will treat them in a very "off camera" way. I think I have captured the ones on the list below, but please, if we are ever in a place during game play where you feel triggered: - Say or text something in Discord, - Message me in Discord privately, (this can just be the letter X) You will never be asked to explain the reason for your discomfort, only precisely what in the game caused it so that it can be avoided in the future.
