About the adventure

This is an epic STAR WARS roleplaying game set 3 years after Episode IX. In it you will play as a new generation of heroes gathered from across the galaxy by the new Grandmaster of the Jedi Order to help restore the Light of the Republic to distant worlds. But though the First Order has fallen, not all want to see the you succeed. New polities like the Independent Consortium of Systems and the Outer Rim Alliance jockey for influence, control, and the last of the fallen regimes superweapons. All the while a strange new threat emerges from the Outer Rim, and an ancient menace, unleashed by Jedi of the distant past, seeks to rebuild what many think destroyed. It is in this midst of this that your party is sent to the galaxies eastern fringe, on the border of wildspace, to discover what happened to a missing senator. What they find will change the face of the galaxy - and the trajectory of their lives - forever. While this game is called New Jedi Order, you are not required to create a Jedi or Force Sensitive character. Think of this as the first episode of a trilogy, a roleplaying game trilogy where we will tell a story that is cinematic in its framing and scope, where a new band of plucky heroes will meet and rise to the occasion, saving the galaxy and discovering things about themselves they never knew in the process. Or perhaps they will be the ones to damn it... only time, and your actions, will tell!

About me

Hi! My name is Zara Bamford and I live in Chicago, IL, with my partner and our adorable little monster of a cat. I’m passionate about history, comic books, medieval fantasy, science-fiction, and cooking. I’ve been DM’ing professionally for over four years on the convention circuit and have run D&D 5th Edition, Arkham Horror, and Star Wars: Edge of the Empire at major conventions like Gencon, Gamehole Con, and Pax Unplugged. I got my start in tabletop gaming with Warhammer 40,000, and spent countless hours hunched over kitchen tables and patios in my youth waging epic battles with plastic and metal figurines, but I always craved something more than just tactical combat - I wanted narrative, an epic adventure to accompany awesome battles. I wouldn't start truly DM'ing till college however, where I started a Rogue Trader campaign for my friends which continues to this day!
