Dragons of Stormwreck Isle is your gateway to action-packed adventures in the world’s greatest roleplaying game. Perfect for those who have never rolled a die before, this adventure drops you and your friends onto a mysterious, volcanic island where an ancient war between good and evil dragons has left the land teeming with magic, monsters, and hidden treasures. As a hero arriving by ship, you’ll explore cursed shipwrecks, delve into fungal-filled caves, and uncover the secrets of a clifftop observatory, all while learning how to battle foes, solve problems, and shape your own legend. Designed specifically for new players, this quest offers a complete, ready-to-play experience that teaches the rules as you go. You will join forces with a cloister of peaceful dragon worshippers to stop a young blue dragon from unleashing a catastrophic ritual that could consume the island. Whether you choose to fight or find a peaceful resolution, your choices matter in this classic tale of heroism where you and your friends become the defenders of Stormwreck Isle. This campaign will take between 5 and 7 sessions. We will kick off with a free Session Zero to get to know the players, the game system, the campaign, create our characters, and discuss safety tools. (You will not be charged for Session Zero; remaining 4-6 sessions will be charged normal session price)

About me
Hey all, I'm Max 👋 I'm relatively new to the RPG community, playing and GMing for a little over a year now. Even thought I've come to this community later in life, I feel like I've found my tribe. I'm from the US, but currently live in Colombia, with my husband, and have been playing in-person with a great group of adventurers here. I love creating worlds and seeing my players get lost in them. And I want to bring that passion to more people. I've explored many paths over the years, but I think it's my time as an actor and writer that ignites my passion at the table. I'd love for you to join me and see what stories we can tell together. Creating your character
We will be creating first level characters together in Session Zero using official D&D 2024 rules. There are also pre-made characters available if you prefer not to create one. Alternatively, if you'd like to create your character ahead of time, message me and I'll provide you some guidance/feedback.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a computer or table with a decent internet connection and a Google account to join a Google Meeting. I would also suggest you make a free account on DnDBeyond.com to learn the basic rules and create your character, but it's not required.
What Max brings to the table
I'm a big fan of theater of the mind: Imagination first, augmented with some images and maps. I'll be on camera (and encourage you to do the same) and sharing images of our journey, characters you meet along the way, and maps to keep track of your journey and battles.
Homebrew rules
I view the rules as a set of guidelines to help us understand the mechanics of the game. Fun and storyline will always top "rules as written" in my games. I don't bring any homebrew rules to the game, rather I encourage us as a group to create them as needed.

How Max creates a safe table
My games are a safe space for everyone, and there is a a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior. All players must respect each other’s pronouns, and identities. We will do a Sesson Zero. This is a free session to get to know one another, learn a little about the game, the campaign we will be playing, and to create your character. During the session we will discuss the safety tools we will be using (eg: lines and veils, aftercare, etc). We will also set boundaries for topics and content during play.
