About the adventure
A blight of pitch-black ichor is spreading across the world. It seeps into the soil, corrupts all it touches, and twists living creatures into something monstrous. At first, each outbreak seems like an isolated horror. But the farther the corruption spreads, the clearer it becomes: these terrors are all part of something much larger. "Divine Ink / Blessed Blood" is an episodic, monster-of-the-week campaign. Each adventure tells a complete story, while clues gathered along the way reveal a deeper mystery hidden within the oil-slicked wastes. Your character will be a part of a band of adventurers drawn together by justice, redemption, revenge, curiosity, or the promise of a heavy purse. Whatever brought you here, you’ve chosen to stand between civilization and the shadows cast by the gods themselves. Ancient artifacts are resurfacing. Monsters are changing. Forgotten cults are stirring. Angels are keeping secrets. And beneath it all, the blight continues to spread. Every creature you hunt, every secret you uncover, and every community you protect brings you closer to the truth. Gather your party and stop the blight or everything you know and love will cease to be.

About me
I’ve been playing and running RPGs for most of my life, and I firmly believe that RPGs belong to everyone. I strive to create a table that is inclusive, welcoming, fun, and above all, safe for everyone who sits down to play. My focus as a GM is collaborative storytelling, with player agency at the heart of every game. I love crafting high-stakes adventures filled with atmosphere, humor, and unexpected twists, while always leaving plenty of room for teamwork, creativity, and a little chaos. I’m also a fierce advocate for inclusion, and that is reflected in the worlds I create. My games feature all kinds of people, including women, trans and nonbinary characters, queer characters, BIPOC characters, disabled and neurodivergent characters, and many other forms of representation. I’m stating that clearly now so there are no surprises later. If that level of inclusivity makes you uncomfortable, then my table probably isn’t the right fit for you, and it’s better for everyone to know that before the game begins.

What Nelson | The Charming Trickster brings to the table
- As a GM, I default to following the rules as written to keep the game consistent, but I’m always happy and willing to embrace creative ideas and the Rule of Cool when the moment calls for it. - I have a wide range of character options on D&D Beyond and will share my content for our campaigns - this also requires a D&D Beyond account which can be free to use. - While I’m no professional voice actor, I enthusiastically bring NPCs to life with my own quirky attempts at voices! Which will all probably start to sound like either a southern belle or a Brooklyn cab driver.

How Nelson | The Charming Trickster creates a safe table
- we will start with a Session 0 where we will go over my social behavior expectations and safety tools, GM style and rules clarifications, the 'fantasy world' where our game will take place, character creation, and a short backstory guide. - I use a combination of theater of the mind with some reference images and basic maps as needed - After the sessions are done, decompression and general chatting will be available - I love feedback as it helps me to know what to keep doing or what to avoid in the future, so keeping an open line of communication is important to me
