About the adventure

In the small, quiet town of Graytown, nestled deep in the Bible Belt, a dark cloud has settled. A beloved young woman, Amelia Davies, has vanished without a trace, and suspicion falls on the Mr. Sidney, a charming yet mysterious young jazzman. Known for his smooth melodies and whispered rumors of unsavory ties, Sidney’s connections have placed him at the center of a growing scandal. But has he truly committed the crime, or is there a deeper conspiracy at work? As investigators, you'll step into the role of outsiders drawn to the case, whether by duty, curiosity, or personal stakes. The year is 1922, and the town of Graytown is steeped in old traditions, where the tight-knit community holds secrets as tightly as their Sunday sermons. Amelia's family, staunch in their beliefs, is desperate for answers, while local authorities are quick to pin the blame on Sidney, without looking too deeply into the shadows that lurk beneath the surface. Amidst the jazz clubs, grand mansions, and silent backwoods, uncover the truth. Is Mr. Sidney a victim of circumstance, or is there a darker plot beneath the veneer of Southern gentility? With danger around every corner, your every choice could lead to redemption—or a deadly end. Trust no one, question everything, and prepare to uncover secrets of Graytown and its people. Join this thrilling 1920s-era mystery, filled with intrigue, jazz, and the murky depths of human nature. The clock is ticking, and the town’s past is about to be dragged into the light. Will you solve the case and find Miss Davies or is she lost forever? *** Regardless of whether this is your first encounter with RPG games or the Call of Cthulhu, or you are an experienced player - I invite you to join a short campaign, which should take 2-4 sessions. This scenario of my authorship might be either a self-sufficient story or a great introduction for a follow-up campaign. The time listed in this game is provisional. I have availability to start the game earlier or later depending on the availability of the group!

About me

Looking for an immersive, narrative-driven RPG experience? I’m a professional GM with over 16 years of experience running TTRPGs, spanning D&D 5e & 3.5e, Call of Cthulhu, Vampire: The Masquerade, Cyberpunk: Red, Blades in the Dark, and even my own custom system built on Fuzion, set in a rich fantasy-medieval world. If you are interested in any of these, but available campaigns and one-shots don't work for you - message me directly or use the Custom Booking option. I run games on Foundry VTT & Discord, enhanced with custom scenarios, dynamic music, and a dedicated journal to keep track of the world and your journey. If you’re looking for a consistent, high-quality game where storytelling and player agency shine - let’s roll the dice! My first encounter with TTRPG was playing DnD 3.5e at my local library when I was still in primary school. Since then, I have been regularly playing and DM'ing. I've used to professionally DM for teens and kids as young as 6 years old at summer camps, as well as at Fantasy Conventions for the Polish publisher of Call of Cthullu.
