About the adventure
Thanks for checking out my first game here on StartPlaying! It’s an honor to be here, truly. So, this will be a 2-3 session “One-Shot” in the Pathfinder 2e Universe, on the Planet of Golarion, and the Continent of Avistan. Avistan is a wild and beautiful land, where. The people who have been settling there have been trying to create small communities, pursuing a sort of “manifest destiny” in trying to civilise and tame the wild lands of Avistan. All players of all experience are welcome, but this is more advertised towards those who are newer to Pathfinder 2e in particular! I’ve been playing for 26 years and only recently had the idea to go “Pro,” if you will. So please, come on down to a low pressure atmosphere with an experienced GM who has taught hundreds of folks to play various TTRPGs!

About me
My name is Cassian, and I fell in love with D&D at a very young age. I was 7 years old, and there was an after school program for kids who wanted to try D&D, and I just fell head over heels. Ever since, I’ve been playing, and shortly after I started playing I also started to DM. Now, 26 years later, as an adult, I am an author and storyteller, running games as much as I can, wherever I can. I live for the craft, my most favorite thing to do is tell stories and play TTRPGs, so it’s only natural that I want to carve out some kind of a career path for it. Which brings us to today. I have developed a bit of a presence on TikTok as a TTRPG creator, and it was suggested to me that I sign up for this site, as I would love to play multiple games a day, and make some money off of something that I love to do. Creating your character
Character creation and game mechanics will be explained in Session Zero! Our first session will be a Session Zero/Session One. Anything that is currently available on the Pathbuilder character creation site is currently available for play! Players are encouraged to check out Pathbuilder and research character options before then, but most of the work will be done as a group!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will be using Discord for Voice Chat, Owlbear Rodeo as our Virtual Tabletop, and Pathbuilder.com for character creation and content! It’s recommended players sign up for these, as they are free and easy to use!
What Cassian brings to the table
I will provide a very in depth game; I enjoy voices, art, visialization, and player interaction very much. It’s valuable to me that all players feel safe and heard, so our biggest safety will be our Session Zero, where we will discuss everything about the game and our Expectatiobs & Boundaries.

How Cassian creates a safe table
Session Zero is going to be our biggest safety net. During our session zero, we will discuss everything about the game. This spans from game mechanics and how to create a character, to the individual wants and needs of the players, as well as their expectations & boundaries. Everything will be discussed before we actually get into the game so all parties will be prepared. If anything occurs in game, DM’s are open, and players are free to stop the game and talk about what is happening.
