About the adventure
Prepare yourself to embark on a whole new adventure of wonder! When this adventure begins, the party has already accepted a job invitation from an eccentric wizard, Cendrail the Stargazer, and agreed to investigate ancient ruins in the rugged hills - about a day’s journey from the city of Grayhaven. These ruins are the remains of a temple devoted to the worship of the sky - a monastery that the old wizard believes may contain clues to tracking the Fallen Star, wherever it may be. The party isn't the only group on the trail of the star, however. Ruthless soldiers from a militant nation scour the nearby coast. The adventure begins as the party descends down a single strand of rope, into the long abandoned ruins of the Monastery of the Arched Sky. Will the party find what they are looking for? Or meet the same fate as so many other unfortunate would be adventurers?

About me
Hi! I'm Bri (she/her). Imagination has been a close friend of mine my whole life. I'm excited to bring it into TTRPG games with you all. I'm a literature and film major so building great and entertaining stories is my favorite thing to do. I've been playing and game mastering for about 5 years as the self-started/ self-appointed forever DM of my group. Brennan Lee Mulligan and Aabria Iyengar are my inspirations for GM'ing. Since a large majority of fantasy and sci-fi lacks melanated representation, I make it a point to always include it in my games. I also enjoy and create space for LGBTQIA+ in all of my games! So if you are craving that, we might be a good match for each other. I've been told NPC's and role playing are my strong suits in game so feel free to chat up that random NPC your character is interested in. I like to have a mix between social, exploration, and combat aspects in my game, but I'm free to adjust games to what the players prefer. Dungeons and Dragons 5e is my specialty but I'm also getting into Call of Cthulhu, Stargate, and Avatar Legends RPG's. My favorite VTT is Foundry/ The Forge. Creating your character
Use Dnd Beyond to create your character sheets. It is mandatory to create your character before the session. Please set the art for your characters as I will be using your chosen art to make your character token on the Forge. I will provide the DnD Beyond link to this game in order to share my purchased content with you. Then you will be able to use my purchased content to create your character.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will use audio mics. Please create your character on DND Beyond ahead of Session 1, with art. Make an account on the Forge to access the VTT. Forge is heavy so you will need a computer or laptop to use it. It doesn't work on mobile devices. If you use Google Chrome, there is an extension called "Beyond 20" that will allow you to roll from your DnD Beyond character sheet and have those roles show up in the Forge. If you wish to use this, please download Beyond 20 before session 1. I will also provide a link to my discord server. Please take the time to look over the Session 0 and House Rules documents. Failure to read them is not an excuse for violating any rules written within.
What Bri the Bold brings to the table
Quality maps, 3D dice, ambiance music and sounds, DnD Beyond premium content, some quirky voiced NPC's and a thirst for fun! All these things will be virtual! Virtual tokens are made based off of the art you set on your DnD Beyond sheet. I will import your sheet from DND Beyond into the Forge before the session.
Homebrew rules
Drinking a potion as a bonus action, Modified Critical Hits, Death Saves get more difficult as you go down.

How Bri the Bold creates a safe table
Session 0 will take place as its own session before we play. I also have some notes you can read in my discord to get everyone on the same page as far as characters, using the Forge, homebrew rules, safety tools, etc. RPG Consent checklist is also on the discord server, along with Deck of Player Safety.
