About the adventure

"Five years ago, a thousand ships answered Agamemnon's call and departed from Greece to seek Ilium's demise. The greatest heroes, the mightiest weapons and the most mythical stories are all gone. You are among who remains. I am Homer, and I will sing of you, amongst Other Names." Set in a fabled Age of Rhapsody — paying homage to the Bronze Age, Greek tragedy and comedy, and classical myth — Echoes of Fate explores lies and prophecies, the building of myths, and what it means to break a destiny set in stone. You are not the hero the epic was written for; no prophecy names you, no muse has claimed your story yet. So what do you make of a life the songs are yet to mention? ⚡ Gods are present but distracted — drawing their eye may bring greatness or ruin. Or maybe you're drawn to the Mysteries? 🔥 No prophecy protects you: your choices ripple outward and can end up altering canon myths and the ongoing war. 🌈 All stories welcome — queer love, grief, and defiance included. ❗Themes include slavery, xenophobia, and violence — but they're always discussed beforehand and never forced. 📚 New to tabletop, Daggerheart or to Greek myth? Perfect — this table's beginner-friendly. And no Classics degree required, just curiosity.

About me

I like my games how I like my tea: hot, honest, and better with company. And like my tea, I take my worldbuilding steeped in history. I've been playing and discovering worlds for fifteen years now, care to join me for your next adventure? I'm an Italian GM, bilingual in English and Italian, with EU & US-friendly playing times (benefits of being a night owl!) "The first maps were story maps" has stuck with me since my first books on cartography — the one that started it all was Homer's Odyssey — and it's become something of a mantra, both as a player and as a GM: a tabletop session is a story, after all, and the world it's set in shapes, and is shaped by, the people living in it. I started as a player on narrative-focused forum RPGs before joining my first Pathfinder 1e session and having the immense luck of living an adventure from level 1 to level 20, mythic tiers included. Since then I've run long campaigns mainly in Pathfinder, D&D 5e, and Daggerheart, with detours into everything from horror to pulp along the way. I've sat behind the screen for seven lucky years now, and nobody's complained yet.

Character creation

Creating your character

You will be provided with a short overview of how ancestries and communities work, and a brief introduction to the campaign setting. I prefer to handle character creation during a session zero, and it can be via voice or text. Just come with concepts and questions, and let's create your character! We'll use standard arrays for Daggerheart and both the core manual and Hope and Fear expansion. If needed, I also have pre-generated characters. We'll mainly play through Discord, with some Foundry VTT support for maps and combat. I host backup character sheets on Demiplane so you can access them outside the game, so you will need a Demiplane account as well.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Have a read through the setting and just come to Session 0 with questions! You will need a Discord account and we'll play on a Discord channel, with Foundry VTT support. I usually host character sheets on my Demiplane account as backups, and you will be given a pdf as well.

What sixter brings to the table

I will strive to do character voices and mannerism and I take care in describing the world around you so you can immerse yourself. Sometimes I use music and ambience! Your story will matter, and I don't mind long backgrounds as long as they are on the narrative side. Tell me about who your character cares for and what are his goals. If you want to continue roleplaying or discovering things, I'm happy to keep the narration going through written sessions or stories. And if you want your character drawn, just say so!

Homebrew rules

I prefer one Avoid Death per character. Massive damage (triple the Severe Damage threshold) inflicts an additional HP.

Safety

How sixter creates a safe table

I prefer to be honest in advance: Echoes of Fate draws from real life in addition to myth. Slavery was present in Ancient Greece, as was mysogyny, war and violence. You will be able to challenge these in-game through your character, or ask me to avoid mentioning them and I will do my best to do so. I will provide a survey regarding triggers, veils and lines so that we are all comfortable playing. X/N/O cards are private messages on Discord or, if we're doing a scene together, you can just say X Card / N Card / O Card.
