About the adventure
Welcome to Sharn, City of Towers- a roaring 20's, art deco inspired take on the iconic Eberron locale. You've been in prison since before the Last War ended, branded and having served your sentence. Your time is finally up, and your goons are ready to help you get revenge. Since the beginning of your sentence, they've done their best to keep your gang running, but things are rough. The world is finally 'at peace', and Sharn is in a golden age full of parties, coin, and debauchery- it's absolutely... criminal. Living in a thriving city from the bottom of the upper crust's boot, you'll have to bop your way around the City of Towers, taking advantage of dirty lawmen, bribing corrupt officials, brawling with rival gangs, gambling in casinos, flirting with the enemy, and partying your way up until you can take on Rosiir 'Rosy' Veldethorn, the Khyber-spawn who screwed you over. If you're a fan of magi-tech, gang wars, revenge stories, urban fantasy, and dark romance, this is the game for you!

About me
I'm Blake, a proud husband, cat dad, game master, and general nerd. I have been running TTRPGs online and in person for over 9 years now, starting with D&D 5e, before branching out to several other systems. I love storytelling and the power of a shared narrative- I find it builds great memories, a positive hobby-space, and long-lasting friendships. When it comes to running games, I typically use Tale Spire, a 3D VTT that allows for some pretty cool environments to be explored in 3 dimensions, or just as set pieces for some theater of the mind. I use this in conjunction with Discord and Roll20, for audio/text/video and character sheets, respectively. I'm here for fun games, good times, camaraderie, and adventure! My favorite genres, generally speaking, are Horror (Gothic & Folk!), Comedy (Absurdism, Parody, Satire, etc.), and Romance (we love a Romcom in this household). I love to run everything from a roaring 20's fantasy mobster romps, to nightmare-fueled vampire survival, to magic-school romantasy, and everything in-between!

Creating your character
Session 0 will be a free primer that includes background information pertinent to the characters, as well as character creation. Make sure you have an idea of how 'Rosy' screwed over your character- whether that was being framed, snitched on, business destroyed, etc. Given the noir themes present, please have concepts for your character's regrets, possible debt they may have, as well as any potential relationships/flaws/etc. The world is gray, although you're not necessarily evil.

What GM Blake brings to the table
I will utilize Talespire, a very immersive 3d virtual tabletop for displaying battle maps or other interactive scenes. I do (sometimes awful) accents and voices for characters, and we will utilize a music bot for ambient/combat music! I like to embrace the rule of cool over rules as written when applicable and am always open to modifying rules on the fly (with a justified reason, of course!)

How GM Blake creates a safe table
I will send a form-fillable file of a consent form. This will be kept anonymous and any lines/veils/etc. will be added to a content channel on the Discord server (no names mentioned). This way everyone will have access to what is considered acceptable & unacceptable content. Anyone ignoring or bypassing the above will be warned/reminded. If further violations occur, it may result in being kicked from the server and game. Content warnings may be overruled via the provided consent document. Content warnings are merely listed for content that is viable or likely to occur, given the nature of the campaign.
