About the adventure
"Skull and Shackles" is a pathfinder adventure path that starts the players as people pressganged into piracy. Eventually they take control of a ship and plunder the seas making a name for themselves as pirates extraordinaire. While there will be some personal changes to the story itself a lot of the adventure will be either directly from or inspired by this adventure path. While piracy in reality has a very dark and and at best morally complex stance that is not the style of this adventure I intend to run. While some of the villains in the story will engage in the more brutal and realistic versions of piracy, the PCs will harken closer to protagonists from "Pirates of the Caribbean", "Treasure Island", or "One Piece".
