About the adventure
DC20 is taking the best parts of other Roleplaying games like D&D, Pathfinder and Daggerheart putting them together and adding some of its own ideas to make something unique and new. So, whether you are a DC20 fan that has been there from the beginning or never heard of it and want to check it out this is a great chance to play and learn this new upcoming system with a twist that you will not just be building characters for but also contributing to the world we will play in. Playing a Tabletop Roleplaying game is great but sometimes the setting is not exactly what you had imagined. What if you could help build the setting and the world that your adventure will take place in? What would you add to the world? What fun things will come out of the combination of your ideas and those of the others in the group? Join the game and let’s see what we can make. During our session 0 the group will help me create the world by picking a main theme for the game, adding interesting locations, Quest ideas and plot points that sound fun. Then I will take those Ideas as the DM and flesh them out making a world that is all our own to play in.

About me
I have been a GM for over 10 years and have run several different styles of games. From hack and slash to deep story driven campaigns where players get to play out their character's goals and ambitions, while making an incredible collaborative story that will be remembered for years to come. When my players surprise me by coming at a problem from an unexpected direction, and completely derailing what I have planned is one of my favorite parts. I love this because it keeps me on my toes and sometimes the best parts of the story come from times like these. As a GM I take the role of stage setter and guide. So please come and share your stories on my stage. I look forward to running a game or campaign for you and your friends or a group of complete strangers that will become friends.

Creating your character
This game will start at level 0-4 depending on what the group wants to do. Our first session will be a session 0 where we will discuss what level to start at and what type of game style the group would like to play along with working together to create the world and then making characters. If joining an ongoing campaign. I will need to do a one-on-one session 0 with you before your first session to help get you and your character ready to play. The one-on-one session takes 90 minutes and costs the same as a normal session.
Want to learn how to Play DC20 or already know how and just want to play. Then this is the game for you. Come and join us for Adventure, Fun and Good times. The Game has started and the players are loving DC20. We faced some monsters on the way to a farm that requested adventures to check out strange markings around the farm. When the group got to the farm it was under attack by gnolls who were trying to drag the farmer and his son way. The Wizard teleported the captives away while the Spellblade and Champion faced the gnolls, They had a close call when the Spellblade went down but was just barely saved by the group in time and now they are chasing after the fleeing Gnolls to find their camp. The party is a Undead Wizard, Gnome Spellblade and Beast/dragon Champion all level 1
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please have a computer and Mic. Headphones are preferred to block out background noise. A free account for Discord and The Forge, the server company I use to host Foundry. If you would like the rules on hand, I will also send out a link to download those as well.
What Tyler brings to the table
I will bring my years of Game Mastering experience, Custom Maps I make for whatever situation the group gets into, access to my Foundry server for character sheets and playing the game. along with access to the most up to date rules as a backer of the project.
Homebrew rules
I like to use the rule of cool to say, "Yes let’s figure out how to make that fun idea work" instead of saying "No do something else". Most of my games like to make natural 20s epic and natural 1s sting.

How Tyler creates a safe table
We will use the lines and Veils tool to help everyone have a good time. If there is any content that the group does not want those are lines and Veils are things that we are ok with but only to a point. Some of my personal ones are explicit sexual content and torture. If any of that comes up in game I will use the fade to black method after a point, to ensure that everyone feels comfortable in the game. This game will have an open-door policy, meaning if at any time during a session someone needs to step away, for any reason that is fine. I just ask that people be respectful and only do so when absolutely necessary, so that we can all continue to play without too many disruptions. I reserve the right as GM to play an absent players' turn if they are unable for any reason. I like to have a break about mid-way through each session so everyone can refill drinks and take care of other necessities. I find that it helps to have a point that players know is coming up, so that everyone can take care of anything they need to do then, instead of randomly throughout the session.
