About the adventure
You have been accepted into this new magical school, join the curriculum, explore the school grounds and its surrounding settlements and discover the mysteries of ancient magic hidden around them. You may choose between being a student starting in the school as a wizardborn, mixblood or born from non-magical parents. And if you are part of the new exchange student plan, to then follow your desire path to greatness between your peers, acing every test, and enjoying lots of mischief.

About me
I'm Lan, but most people call me Panda! I'm 33 and I've been playing ttrpgs since I was 12. Most of that time we played D&D with my friends over various editions and eventually I started trying new systems, some years ago I came across Apokalypse World and the PbtA genre of games for which I have fallen totally in love with. So now I have quite a variety of games in my portfolio so to say. I've also been DMing for an Adventurer's League on a TableTop club for a year and I became the lore keeper of the league on Kanka and a moderator of the spaces, so I have some experience mediating conflicts and finding solutions in these public games. On a different note, I hope to find players willing to help me test stuff as I am working on game design as well, so I'm really exited to join a community that could help me learn even more about games and player perspectives.

Creating your character
We will do character creation personally with each player before first session. Characters will start as young middle/highschool students of the Pigmoles Institute, I will help players build up an interesting background that will arise interesting interactions with the world they are gonna be exploring.

What Alan García Río brings to the table
My forté as a GM is this type of games where whimsical magic and mysteries lurk in every corner. I have also plenty of experience with this narrative first type of games that allow players to explore teenage drama. And as a teacher i will try to give them a real magical school experience!
Homebrew rules
I will be using content based on the Wizardry World of HP to apply some rules to how magic words in the system.

How Alan García Río creates a safe table
Session 0: We will buid part of our setting with stuff that my players would like to see and explore, not only in setting but in aspects of roleplay, i will give them a general debriefing of the ideas i have for the game and what general story I would like to tell so we can all be in the same page. Debriefing: if a session may have something i may consider worth mentioning I always rather explain what the game is going to be about before the game, and checking with my players if everyone is ok with that. Aftercare is not listed in this game as I don't really intend for it to get to those points, if the drama between characters arise to the situation, I will make sure to expend some extra minutes after the game to make sure everyone is okey with how the session played and to remind them that we are not our characters.
