About the adventure
In the Spanish Caribbean, wealthy merchant families, minor nobility, naval officers, heirs, rivals, pirates, rebels, smugglers, and royal envoys are drawn into a glittering season at a coastal hacienda. There will be balls, letters, courtship, reputation, family obligation, whispered rumors, forbidden loyalties, and secrets from the past that refuse to stay buried. The island is beautiful, wealthy, and unsettled. Spanish royal interests tighten their grip, rebel sympathies move through salons and servants’ corridors, and pirates haunt the trade routes with ties to families who would never admit knowing them. At the Hacienda of Last Light, every dance may hide a bargain, every letter may become evidence, and every guest may be protecting someone they should condemn. Our first paid session will be part of play: together we will create the society around the hacienda, including our characters, their connections, desires, reputations, secrets, family ties, obligations, rumors, and the scandals already moving through the island. The story will grow from what we build together, so everyone has a hand in shaping the drama before the first dance begins.

About me
Roleplaying games have been a lifelong passion of mine and a core part of how I connect with people and tell stories. Over the years, that passion has grown into creating experiences that bring players together—whether they’re longtime veterans or brand new to the game. For me, RPGs are more than just entertainment. They’re a space where strangers become allies, stories take on a life of their own, and moments at the table turn into lasting memories. My goal is simple: create games that players look forward to every week and remember long after the campaign ends.

Creating your character
Character creation will happen together during our first paid session. In Good Society, this is part of play: we will create our major characters, connections, family ties, reputations, desires, ambitions, secrets, obligations, and rumors as a group. By the end, everyone will be tied into the social web of the hacienda, with plenty of love, rivalry, scandal, and betrayal ready for the first scene.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please have a good microphone, headphones or headset, and a working camera. We’ll use Discord for voice, video, and between-session communication, so please join the server before game time and send me a quick message when you arrive. You do not need to come with a finished character; we will create our characters, connections, secrets, and ambitions together during the first paid session.

Safety
How Chance Russo creates a safe table
I keep my tables welcoming, respectful, and collaborative. We’ll talk about tone, boundaries, and expectations before play begins, and we’ll use safety tools so players can pause, redirect, or fade out any scene that becomes uncomfortable. Romance, scandal, betrayal, politics, pirates, and family secrets can all be dramatic without becoming unsafe or disrespectful. My goal is for everyone to feel involved, heard, and free to contribute to the story. I check in with players, make space for quieter voices, and treat consent as an ongoing part of play, especially in a game built around relationships, secrets, and emotional drama.
