About me

While I was looking for an activity to spend time with my family, especially my sons, that was away from electronics we stumbled upon this wonderful new hobby of TTRPGs. Initially the rules seemed intimidating but, with a bit of research and some helpful advice I began writing my own Homebrew adventures and now I'm hooked on writing, reading and adapting stories for groups. Typically, I DM for groups of 4-6 in person but I would like to expand this to include online resources. My passion is for families and relationships to grow through overcoming challenges and learning to communicate through collective storytelling and common interests. I know that building that bond with kids can be difficult for parents and my hope is to foster an easy, fun and exciting way to strengthen a family bond, and make new friends along the adventure. All are welcome to join, however, to encourage those whom I have a passion for teaching, my intent is to provide **FREE GM SERVICES** IF YOU MEET ONE OF THE FOLLOWING PREREQUISITES - FULL HOUSEHOLD FAMILY UNIT (EX. HUSBAND, WIFE & CHILDREN; MARRIED COUPLES) - FOSTER PARENTS/CHILDREN (IT TAKES A SPECIAL PERSON TO WELCOME PEOPLE INTO THEIR HOMES AND PROVIDE CARE. THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU!) - UNIFORMED SERVICES IN THE US (POLICE, MILITARY, FIRE, EMS ETC.) - PLAY TESTERS FOR MY OWN HOMEBREW MATERIALS Prices for those who meet a prerequisite will have their GM fee waved at event start time. Honor system here. I do not do this for the money but ask that my time is respected. Thank you!!

What Still brings to the table

This is an intense horror setting and is only appropriate for those over the age of 18. The PbP format favors narrative driven adventures (80%) while offering challenging combat challenging the players creativity and resourcefulness (20%). Rule of Cool is highly favored. Narrative gameplay will be at the heart of this adventure. I will provide moments for each character to shine throughout the campaign. I will post new content at a minimum once every 24 hours as well as be available for any questions that may arise.

Homebrew rules

Homebrew rules in regard to combat and skill checks will often reward narrative and creative solutions rather than pure dice rolls.

Safety

How Still creates a safe table

Ravenloft and the campaign associated with Curse of Strahd is on par with a typical R-Rated Horror film. As such, it is intended for only players over the age of 18. Please communicate with the GM to ensure your comfort level with any material that may be depicted. Any and all offensive content discussed by players and the GM are intended to have narrative and atmospheric purpose. In other words, expect the villains to act like a villain and have actions that reflect their true nature as the evil force they are intended to represent.
