About the adventure
Formed long ago by an archipelago nation, a colony was created on the ocean floor for reasons long forgotten. Once established, it was completely cut off from the surface and left to manage itself and try to thrive. Have you ever wanted to know what it's like to be in an underwater colony, under the crushing pressure of the ocean at all times? Completely isolated from the outside world until only recently? Now's your chance - it's the adventure the Oceangate billionaires wished they could go on! The oceanic colony, Brackin, is putting on a festival after establishing contact with the surface for the first time and is inviting thousands of people to come on down where it's better because it's wetter, under the sea. Enjoy a healthy dose of amusement rides, fair food, and mystery at the inaugural Sisterhood festival! When you sign up, you'll be able to participate in a free Session 0! Beginners are welcome! If you're looking for your first campaign, this is the one you want. You'll have the opportunity to learn combat immediately, interact with fun NPCs, play in a classic-feeling campaign setting with an underwater twist.

About me
Years ago I started GMing a game for friends who missed playing TTRPGs. Since then, even though I improved as a story teller and a GM, one thing remained consistent - keeping heart at the focus of play. There's nothing like sitting around a table, in person or virtually, with people you like and you're all laughing at hijinks or at the edge of your seat invested in the story. That's the vibe I want to try to bring to you every game. Though setting and players may change from game to game, it's about all of us creating stories together. I started with Dungeons & Dragons 5e like many and will always have a place in my heart for it. However, I also have really enjoyed games like DIE RPG and Daggerheart allowing for a more fluid narrative.

Species restrictions? Nope! Class restrictions? Nope! Background restrictions? Nope! All things are on the table with this campaign. Let your imagination go wild. Come to the Session 0 with a couple ideas in mind. Your character has the option to be from the surface above, or someone from under the sea, a citizen of the forgotten ocean-bed colony.

How Matt creates a safe table
I'll have an Anonymous Lines & Veils document for players that we'll go over in session 0 and have filled out before session 1. I utilize anonymous X cards within Foundry that show on the screen immediately for every player. You can expect 1-2 breaks each session with plenty of time to stretch, walk around, decompress, grab snacks, use restroom, etc. We end things on a positive note with Stars & Wishes each session.
