About the adventure
You're an adventurer. Or maybe you're even a group of adventurers. Whatever. Why are you here? No one cares! Don't tell me your backstory. We're here to kick ass and find treasure. That's your motivation. Now get ready to roll! In front of you is a dark staircase. Its mysterious shadows beckon you to enter. And by "beckon," I mean you need to go down the damn stairs, or there's not a hell of lot of purpose for us all sitting around this [digital] table now, is there?! This officially-licensed (apparently no longer :-/) DnD one-Shot marries your favorite ttrpg with all of your favorite Rick & Morty nonsense! Create your own or use one of the pre-made Smith family PCs. Traps, puzzles, hilarity and absurdity abound as you take on the twisted Lost Dungeon of Rickedness!

About me
Hey all, I’m StrangestCat, and I want YOU to join me for a game! I’ve been playing D&D for a few years now, and have only recently made the dive into DMing, but I’m definitely diving in whole-heart! I love the ability of TTRPGs to bring together a group to tell a story, and character- and world-building with rich lore and backstory is what I love and bring to the table. I typically run games with D&D 5/5.5E, but I’ve been branching out into different systems lately and cooking up some fun stuff! Whether it’s a quick one-shot adventure or battle or a campaign you want, I can cover it! I’m in the midst of putting together a few homebrew campaigns I’d love to run through SPG, and also love to run the classics, so give me a shot and I’ll give your table a great time! I use Foundry VTT for more in-depth automations and experience, but also love running quicker and lighter stuff on AboveVTT, Roll20, and even Beyond’s Maps VTT! Whatever you or your group has in mind, I can accommodate! I’ll even write custom campaigns or one-shots for the right crew - Hope to see you at the table!

Creating your character
The character arc for this mini-campaign runs from level 1 to level 3. Character creation can be handled during Session 0, where you can choose one of the pre-generated characters or we can roll one up! We can use Beyond for creation and I'll have the pregens in the Beyond campaign if you want to use one. Feel free to bring your own level-1 character as well, all official & third-party sources welcome (if I own them, which is likely)! This is a wild, fun dungeon-crawl full of Rick's nonsense, so if you want to bring something ridiculous, I'm all for it!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Get into that Rick & Morty headspace and get ready to get WEIRD! We'll handle character creation, safety tools & expectations in a mini-session 0 at the start of our first session. Be ready with a DnDBeyond account - DnDBeyond.com (free), a Discord account with a working mic (also free)(video not required, but always okay), and a Forge account (also free) - https://forge-vtt.com/. We're playing on FoundryVTT, but Forge is the hosting platform you'll use to get in.
What StrangestCat brings to the table
I'll bring an immersive VTT experience with sounds, animations (if able), music & voices, as well as fun NPCs and all the vibes! We'll have some fun combats and some great opportunity for roleplay in the conjoined worlds of DnD & Rick & Morty!
Homebrew rules
I'm always all about that Rule of Cool - you want to make something happen in an unusual or unexpected way? Pitch it and I'll more than likely give you the green light if you pass your persuasion check! Aside from that, I don't think we'll have too much opportunity to homebrew in this mini-campaign.
