About the adventure
Enter the world of Eberron in a long-term D&D 3.5e campaign filled with pulp adventure, dangerous expeditions, political intrigue, ancient mysteries, and cinematic action. Inspired by Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider, noir fantasy, and classic high-adventure storytelling, this campaign features treasure hunting, magical technology, airships, dragonmarked intrigue, forgotten ruins, conspiracies, and deadly enemies hidden beneath the surface of the world. The story begins with exploration and treasure expeditions before unfolding into a larger myth arc involving hidden powers, dangerous discoveries, and secrets that could reshape Eberron itself. This is not a standard Eberron retelling. A fully developed custom myth arc introduces major twists, altered lore, new mysteries, and unexpected developments designed to surprise even longtime Eberron fans. Player choices, character backstories, and party goals will meaningfully shape the direction of the campaign.

About me
My name is Charles, and I have been playing TTRPGs for more than 20 years, and have been a GM for almost as long. I have experience with D&D, Dresden Files and Rifts/Palladium, but I can learn just about any system if needed. I tend to be combat heavy and player friendly, but have been known to provide mystery, political intrigue, and allow my players to spend time just getting to know their characters. Very new-player friendly.

Creating your character
I will provide a Google Drive folder containing all approved and necessary books, rules, and campaign documents for character creation and play. A free Session 0 will be held for introductions, campaign discussion, and final character review. Players are encouraged to begin developing character concepts before Session 0 so we can focus primarily on finalizing characters, answering questions, verifying mechanics, and preparing to begin the campaign smoothly. Joining the game will also provide access to the Roll20 game and Discord server. Players will be able to enter character details into Roll20, coordinate with the group, and ask questions leading into the campaign. This campaign is designed for cooperative players interested in story-driven adventures, exploration, intrigue, and character development. Players should create characters willing to work with the party and engage with the campaign’s mysteries and themes. Both new and experienced Eberron players are welcome. Familiarity with D&D 3.5e is helpful but not required if you are willing to learn.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a Discord account, a Roll20 account, and a working microphone/speakers setup. A headset is strongly recommended to reduce background noise, feedback, and echo. Roll20 will handle most dice rolling and character management. Digital access to all required and approved rulebooks will be provided for players. Players are encouraged to arrive at Session 0 with at least a basic character concept, personality idea, or backstory direction prepared. Character sheets, notes, handouts, and campaign information will be maintained through Roll20 and Discord.
What S.A.Mannly brings to the table
I will provide the campaign, adventure content, access to Roll20 and Discord, and digital copies of all required game materials and rulebooks needed for play.
Homebrew rules
I do use several homebrew rules and campaign adjustments in my games. All character creation changes, rule modifications, and campaign-specific mechanics will be clearly documented in the provided character creation materials and reference documents.

Safety
How S.A.Mannly creates a safe table
This campaign will generally remain within a PG-13 style tone. While darker themes, danger, loss, and serious situations may appear, the game is not intended to focus on graphic content, excessive cruelty, or deeply disturbing subject matter. Player comfort and enjoyment are important. Lines and veils may be provided before Session 0 so boundaries can be respected during campaign planning. X, N, and O safety tools are welcome at any time, either publicly or privately, and will always be honored without issue. The overall tone of my games tends to be adventurous, light-hearted, and focused on fun, excitement, humor, and memorable moments. However, themes such as combat, death, captivity, betrayal, horror elements, and other dangerous situations may still appear as part of the story and setting.
