Its castle, as ancient as the school itself, is host to mysteries and magics that have eluded the understanding of students, staff, and headmasters for millennia. With the wizarding world in an era of peace wherein the unions between wizardkind and other beings, both magical and non-magical, growing stronger every day, Hogwarts is entering a new era of magical progress and cooperation. Yet the new world is at risk, as those who wish to seize more power for themselves make hidden moves to fracture the growing alliances. _____________________________________________________ The Sleeping Dragon is a Harry Potter role playing campaign that harnesses the narrative power of the Genesys System to bring the wizarding world right to you. Players will join a new year at Hogwarts as students in their 5th year. Classes and assignments will all be a part of the campaign with character progress, XP, and currency being tied to classes, exploration, and interaction with the world. From Quidditich matches to Hogsmeade visits, from Astronomy to Alchemy, from trophy room detentions to the dangers of the Forbidden Forest, the entire Hogwarts experience is available to you.

Hi, my name is Beto and I'm your new favorite game master, probably. I've been runnining games for 12 years and I'm still learning and growing from each session that I sit down to play! Creating your character
Character creation will take place over an engaging and narrative session zero experience where you, as a player, will be introduced to the system and all of its key components. Through the process of creating your character, developing their goals and skills, and customizing their wand you will both be prepared for your first session and fully oriented with the workings of the Genesys System.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need accounts for Discord and RPGsessions. The Discord Server will serve as the host for our game sessions and will also contain a number of continued opportunities for rp outside of sessions - with classes, role play prompts, and in-game shops available to create the exact kind of Hogwarts experience you want. RPGsessions is the unique and specialize VTT used for the Genesys System. This will be entirely free to you but is essential to taking advantage to the full customizability of the system.
What Beto brings to the table
I will be providing and maintaining the Discord Server as a host for the entire experience. The PDF's and Handouts necessary for character creation and complete understanding of the game and its components with also be made available.
Homebrew rules
The campaign will be utilizing Genesys rules for character creation and gameplay. The Harry Potter homebrew setting has been fully developed to take advantage of the systems offered by Genesys.

How Beto creates a safe table
