About the adventure
A sect of acolytes, lead by a man Ylt, have attacked a sect of Shin Stone Shamans and stolen Taln's Honorblade. Only one of the monks has remained, and he needs you to take back the Honorblade. Travel through Shinovar, find defeat the acolytes loyal to the Eyes of Pala, fight back against Ylt, and take back the Honorblade. Great change is coming to Shinovar, and you've found yourself at the center of it. With this game comes with a free Session 0 where we will create characters, go over the game, discuss rules and mechanics, and make sure we're ready for session 1!

About me
Years ago I started GMing a game for friends who missed playing TTRPGs. Since then, even though I improved as a story teller and a GM, one thing remained consistent - keeping heart at the focus of play. There's nothing like sitting around a table, in person or virtually, with people you like and you're all laughing at hijinks or at the edge of your seat invested in the story. That's the vibe I want to try to bring to you every game. Though setting and players may change from game to game, it's about all of us creating stories together. I started with Dungeons & Dragons 5e like many and will always have a place in my heart for it. However, I also have really enjoyed games like DIE RPG and Daggerheart allowing for a more fluid narrative.

Creating your character
We will create our characters in session 0! I will give access to the handbook and stonewalkers book for possible character creation options. Have a couple options in your head before session 0 if you'd like, and we'll create them as a team to make sure we have a fun party that fits together.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please have a Demiplane account as we'll run the campaign and character sheets through there. Also make sure to have a Discord account, you'll be given a link to join my server. We'll play our sessions in a private channel.

How Matt creates a safe table
I make sure to use a host of safety tools for my players: Session 0 - In session 0 I'll make sure that the game is laid out, that we go over content and what to expect, ensure that players are all on the same page with Lines and Veils, and make sure that each player has the tools they need to play Lines and Veils - This gets sent out before our Session 0 for all players to go over anonymously and then sign that they read it. We'll use this as a guidelines for how we play together. X Card - During games we'll have an anonymous X-Card feature in our VTT. If content becomes too much, or a topic gets too close to being uncomfortable, the X-card can be given and we'll all know to stop right there and take any further precautions. Breaks - Each game will have at least 1 10-15 minute break to give you time to stretch and take a moment away from the game. Stars and Wishes - At the end of each game we give Stars & Wishes. We want to celebrate players and decisions and gameplay in a positive manner by giving stars and talk about things we look forward to with Wishes.
