About the adventure

Tales spreading through the adventurers' guilds of the Sword Coast tell of a lost temple hidden beneath the dense jungles of Chult. Within its subterranean depths is rumored to hold a sacred fountain blessed by gods long forgotten. Some claim it grants immortality, others whisper of divine wisdom or strength beyond mortal limits. Many have sought its waters. None have returned. Drawn by the potential of power, prestige, or perhaps the simple thrill of adventure, you and your companions have ventured deep into this treacherous jungle. After weeks of searching, as you finally stand beneath the worn stone arches of the temple's entrance, you find only an empty chamber with a staircase descending into the depths below the earth. Your adventure begins here!

About me

Hello adventurers! My name is Squint and I've been playing D&D for six years as a player and DM. I decided to take my DMing online because I had a great DM in my first online campaign as a player which really helped me develop my love for D&D, and I want to be able to do that for someone else! I especially enjoy emphasizing the social aspect of D&D. I believe the game is at its best when players engage with each other in-character by sharing ideas, making plans, and collaborating to build a vibrant and exciting world together. I encourage players to engage in small talk and work together in-character to make decisions that shape the world they inhabit

What to expect

Players will need the following: • D&D Beyond account for character creation • Discord account for voice chat • Microphone of some kind (built-in laptop mics work just fine) • Desktop computer or laptop (Foundry VTT unfortunately doesn't work with ~most~ tablets)

What SqntEastwood brings to the table

In every game I provide a full-suite virtual experience on Foundry VTT with: • Professionally-made battle maps and dungeons to navigate • Music to set the tone • My very very best attempts at voice acting for every NPC you engage with (please pardon the times my accents start to blend together into unknown dialects!) • A story with plenty of room for everyone to shine (or lurk in the shadows, if that's more their style).

Homebrew rules

• Crits are full base damage + rolled crit damage • To perform the Help Action during roleplay and exploration, a character must have proficiency in the skill, or the stat related to the skill, that they are helping with
