About the adventure

HOOK: Hidden amid the Domains of Dread lies a hideous realm defiant of reason and smothered by the Mists. From a violent, murky sea rises a crescent of shattered peaks, mangled spires broken like jaws of some slain thalassic titan. From noxious fumaroles, miasmic pillars lurch from this accursed isle into a sky inconsistently lit by an everchanging moon. Innsmouth welcomes all. GAME INFORMATION Great Cthulhu was - and inevitably will be once more - a threat to the entire multiverse. For untold ages, the Dark Powers have bound this harbinger of doom. Unlike other prisoners of the Domains of Dread, Cthulhu isn't plagued by ironic torments or thwarted ambitions. Rather, this ageless terror remains physically bound and can exert only a fraction of its terrible might. Nevertheless, Cthulhu's dreams slip beyond its prison, manipulating minds and orchestrating events to ensure its release and a new epoch of multiversal doom. The Gods fear him and in turn they send their followers to Innsmouth in order to keep an eye on things. Recent investigations show that Great Cthulhu is planning something extravagant, and it's up to the Gods chosen champions to infiltrate Innsmouth and to destroy this plot from the inside, and to kill Cthulhu if any of his essence were to escape. GAME FEATURES -Learn about Innsmouth and the many cults it harbors. -Learn about Cthulhu, its history and why both the Gods and the Dark Powers fear it. -Battle against horrors beyond imagination and against the ever encroaching Insanity that infects all minds. -Experience Steinhardt's Guide to the Eldritch Hunt's Insanity, Madness and Eldritch Moon mechanics. -Take on Cthulhu when you think you're ready. INCLUDING -All Material released for D&D 5e and 5.5 by Wizards of the Coast. -Many third party releases including Steinhardt's Guide to the Eldritch Hunt and Kobold Press -Deep lore regarding all things Cthulhu Mythos.

About me

If RP and character driven stories sound good to you then we are in agreement. Epic fantasy adventures with a down to earth and relatable people, cities and stories are what I love the most. Heroes and villains are great, but what if there is more than just black and white? That is what I explore with my games and my players. My personal background has included writing, directing and acting in my own movies and skits. I have multiple works of fiction on multiple platforms, and I’m currently building up my own brand of TTRPG entertainment. I love to put my own spin on things, and I love working with others for the maximum amount of fun, whether it's custom rules or personal requests. I do like to push my players to RP to the best of their ability, as experience has shown: a little push can go a long way. VTT CHOICE AND EXPANDED MATERIALS: The VTT I mainly use is Fantasy Grounds as my VTT (Virtual Tabletop) of choice. I choose this primarily because it is both user friendly, while being the most customizable VTT out there (in my opinion). Fantasy Grounds is completely free for players and I do not expect my players to pay for anything other than the booking price. I have over 200 books for D&D 5e, Pathfinder 1e and Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition on this platform. All of them are both first party and third party. Feel free to ask if I have a specific book you’re looking for as I use these materials regularly in my games and encourage my players to try new things. I'm also an official GM for Warlock’s Sanctum and a Panel member of Heroes of the Multiverse. These are both communities that focus on getting players in games and having fun while trying new things. Feel free to say hello to me there or anywhere you may see me.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

A mic and a character concept are all that is needed, along with Downloading and Installing the free version of Fantasy Grounds Unity and joining the Discord. Discord: https://discord.gg/3wzbS4dCMw Fantasy Grounds https://www.fantasygrounds.com/

What Rob (RPG Mastery) brings to the table

I bring all of the automation I can bring to Fantasy Grounds Unity including but not limited to: -Auto math -Auto differentiation between those who made a save and those who did not (I.E. auto calculating who made their save when being hit by a fireball) -Calculating of health, Spell Save DC, Attack bonuses and damage -Auto accounting for spell preparation. and much more. I also have nearly every D&D 5e official book, along with a large array of Kobold Press material like Deep Magic, Tome of Heroes and Midgard adventure setting. They add 700+ spells and 50+ sub classes, races and class features. Most use 2014 rules.
