About the adventure
The world of Lorcana is one of magic and adventure. A self isolated world, the terrain and the people who live there are as varied and diversified as the other. Every generation, the Capitol of Boreign City throws a huge festival to celebrate the Goddesses and the Wardens. You have found yourself in the city on the week of this festival. You have been tasked with assisting in preparations for the festival, along with others you have met with. What lies in store, and will the festival go off without a hitch? This campaign will be a level 1-10 campaign, with a focus on magic and whimsy. The world of Lorcana is one of joy and fun, but also of raw power. The campaign will hit on themes of: The March of time, Nature vs Society, the inevitability of change, and the beauty yet brutality of nature and the beings born to it. This game is meant for players of all experience levels, from newbie to experienced in Daggerheart. The contents of the campaign will be based on how each of you react and interact with the world around you, as it is as much a living being as you are.

Creating your character
Attached will be a Demiplane link to the campaign so you will have access to the core book material. You will build a level 1 character, with the standard character builder on Demiplane. If you are wanting to try something outside of the Core Rulebook, I do have a plethora of 3rd Party material that will be allowed! In that case, you will need to pen and paper character sheet, as Demiplane does not allow Homebrew material on their character builder. Session 0 will be to set up the world and campaign expectations, and to assist anyone who is unfamiliar with the site and/or who would like just general guidance on building!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Attached will be the: Discord link for the game (for audio and visual) The Owlbear Rodeo link (the VTT I use) The DemiPlane link (for character building) Come to session 0 with a few character ideas/concepts and we will integrate your character into the world! All session 0’s are free, as I believe everyone should know what they are getting into when joining a campaign, and group chemistry does matter!

I bring a wellspring of Knowledge from running TTRPG's for 3 years as well as access to the Core Rulebook, a plethora of 3rd party material, and any information you would need to have access to!

How Troye creates a safe table
Players can expect a even spacing of challenging fights and easy encounters, as well as plenty of RP opportunities. We will do a Session 0, with availability for a one on one about your character, a Lines and Veils chat so everyone at the table knows what to avoid, and an always-open-door policy for if content gets too intense for you.
