About the adventure
Far out in the South Blue, Postelle Island is a quiet Island known for its towering snow-capped mountain, migrating giant albatrosses, and peaceful hunting village. Though surprisingly recognized by the World Government for decades, little about the island seems remarkable—until Big News Morgans built a factory atop the highest peak. This is a story-driven One Piece campaign focused on exploration, roleplay, mystery, and cinematic combat. Expect memorable NPCs, meaningful player choices, and an original island filled with hidden lore and surprises. New and experienced players are both welcome. If you enjoy creative problem-solving, character-driven adventures, and the spirit of One Piece, you'll feel right at home on the high seas. This game is not within the One Piece canon, so no prior knowledge of the anime is necessary.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hello! My name is Charles and I'm looking to plan D&D sessions for you (your party or strangers!) I have been Dungeon Mastering for 10+ years and have been DMing twice weekly for 4+ years. You'll like playing with me if you love; the rule of cool, well painted scenes/combat, or collaborative worldbuilding.

Creating your character
I like to create characters together during Session 1 so everyone starts on the same page and the party fits the campaign's overall theme. If you're already comfortable building characters, you're welcome to create one beforehand, but I'll still need to approve it to make sure it fits the setting. Characters will begin at Level 2 using the standard array for ability scores, with a quick level-up early in the adventure. All official races and classes are allowed, though they'll be adapted to fit the One Piece-inspired setting. The campaign takes place in its own original world rather than the One Piece canon, so no prior knowledge of the series is required.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a Discord account for voice communication and a Roll20 account to access the game. Before the first session, you'll receive invitations to both the Discord server and the Roll20 game. All maps, handouts, character resources, and other Roll20 materials will be provided, so there's nothing extra you need to purchase or prepare beyond creating your accounts.
What Charles brings to the table
My games are story-first, with a strong focus on roleplay, exploration, and player choice. I enjoy giving each NPC their own personality to help bring the world to life. Combat is cinematic and rewarding without getting bogged down in excessive crunch. While I value the rules as a foundation, I'm a firm believer in the Rule of Cool when it creates memorable moments and fits the spirit of the game. Clever ideas, teamwork, and creative problem-solving are always encouraged and often rewarded. Because this is an original One Piece-inspired setting, I work with players during Session 0 to build characters that fit both the world and the party. My goal is to create a collaborative, welcoming table where everyone has opportunities to shine, regardless of their experience with D&D or One Piece. If you're excited about adventure, mystery, and telling an unforgettable story together, you'll fit right in.

How Charles creates a safe table
Before Session 0, I'll send everyone a Google Form that covers safety tools, including Lines and Veils, along with a few questions about your playstyle, expectations, and character ideas. Please fill it out before we meet so I can tailor the campaign to the group and make sure everyone is comfortable. During Session 0, we'll review the results together, discuss any boundaries or expectations, create characters, and establish the party's connections. After each session, I'll check in with the group for feedback, address any concerns, and make adjustments as needed to ensure everyone continues to have a fun and comfortable experience.
