About the adventure

You didn’t mean for it to go bad. It was just a little fun. It was a crazy time. No matter if it was gambling on cards, a drug-fueled bender, borrowing money to keep the family business stable, an energy purchase gone wrong, or maybe you just wanted to disappear from the Pact Worlds. You owe the gangster a lot of credits. Credits you don’t have, and now he wants to see you in his palace and has dispatched his half-orc enforcers to bring you in. In this campaign, you will play as members of an unwilling smuggling crew, and you are employed by an intergalactic gangster who is sending you on a mission to deliver the spice to the Pact Worlds. You must avoid law enforcement

About me

🧙‍♀️I am a disabled poet who started playing AD&D 2e back in the THAC0 days of the mid 1990s. I quickly progressed from being a player to being a GM due a lack of GMs in the area, but I found that I love being the Game Master, and have run games ever since. I truly enjoy complex storytelling. 🧙‍♀️I have years of experience studying fantasy and sci-fi literature, mythology, and epic poems. In college, I studied Gilgamesh, Paradise Lost, and Beowulf in detail and I often draw on these epic stories when writing our adventures. 🧙‍♀️I am a published mythopoetic poet who combines mythology and technology metaphors to produce an autobiographical poetry thats strives to be generalized into universal experiences. My book of poetry, Spacetime Nirvana, was published in 2022 by Alien Buddha Press.

Character creation

Creating your character

We are using third-party books from Everyman Gaming and Rogue Genius Games including several additional classes, the Everyman system for Species from Starfarer's Species Reforged. Please use these alternate rules, which will be presented in Session 0, to make your character.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need two accounts to play in the Spice Gambit Campaign. The Forge, an online VTT found at https://forge-vtt.com Discord, for online communication, www.discord.com

What Kevin, the Drunken Minotaur brings to the table

I bring years of GM experience in Starfinder 1e. I provide a unique storyline that you won't find anywhere else. I also use Foundry as both a VTT and a media server. I use Discord for communication and voice chat.

Homebrew rules

We are using several books with alternate lor, and I have written a short Player's Guide that explains all the alternate rules. We will use Starfarer's Species Reforged for Species. We will use a custom form of starship combat I call Skilled Starship Combat. It uses Skill Challenges to resolve combat. I will also employ the Rule of Cool to resolve some elements of the game. The list of 3PP books allowed is: Aeoncarnate Base Class Advanced Occult Guide Advanced Skill Guide Legacy Cavalier Class Legacy Dragonrider Class Legacy Godling Class Legacy Gunslinger Class Legacy Witch Class
