About the adventure
As the players: the final details of the settings, themes and playstyles will be up to you as the participants. I always try to keep a steady flow of the game in the sense of meaningful story progression, individual character story growth and development, engaging and layered combats, interactive roleplay and dynamic story impact of your decisions and actions upon the npcs and the world you are not only exploring- but developing. I tend to favor higher power settings with fantastical characters and creatures that challenge not just your character builds- but who they are story wise.

About me
I am here to do what I can to make the game enjoyable for the group, whatever that means for each person. This is regardless of whether I am playing or running. Because if the group isn't enjoying themselves and making memories then what's the point in playing in the first place? Also I make content for various TTRPGs and can be requested to make content for other Tabletop RPGs as well. Here is some of my free promotional content for all of your enjoyments. https://yoshtheguardian.itch.io

Creating your character
I recommend keeping a few character ideas ready, as I'll be using an enhanced and empowered combination of the original 5e and 5.5e (with a splash of elements from older editions too) that brings all the feats, races, backgrounds, and classes not only to a new power level- but also balanced with one another again! Characters will be rolled up during the Session 0 (Prep session for those of you unfamiliar), which will take some of the 1st Session. Immediate things to plan for include: Starting Character Level will be 4th. Ability Scores will be 2d6+6, rolled 7 Times and Drop the lowest. If the Sum of all Six Scores is less than 75 the player completely rerolls. Homebrew content can be requested, so long as the other players and myself as the Game Master approve the material presented (modifications may be made to it to balance it appropriately too). If you wish to preview the exact details of the material used to design the characters and for some rules mechanics changes, the link is here: https://yoshtheguardian.itch.io/dungeons-and-dragons-5e-revamped-and-amped
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have Roll20 and Discord Accounts made. Discord will be used for calls during the games and for discussions about anything outside the game that may relate to it (such as late arrival, early departure, absence, etc), and for any safety care practices we all decide to implement. Roll20 will be used to facilitate the game itself. Again, this link will take you to the complete system for character design and gameplay rules changes the players should be aware of: https://yoshtheguardian.itch.io/dungeons-and-dragons-5e-revamped-and-amped
What Andrew Martin brings to the table
I will use years of voice play experience so long as the players desire it. Same for Ambient Battle music- which the players can assist with and / or queue tracks for at times if used. The elements of combat, roleplay and other elements of the game will be catered to the preferences of the players- and how they feel during each session- as best as possible.
Homebrew rules
Again, all immediately required to be known homebrew rules are here: https://yoshtheguardian.itch.io/dungeons-and-dragons-5e-revamped-and-amped Other homebrew rules and materials may be submitted and used with approval from the other players and myself as the GM.

How Andrew Martin creates a safe table
The rule of thumb? If you need to express it: do so how you need to publicly or privately. I am listening, and anonymously boundaries will be drawn for people who need them. Any of the safety techniques the players feel are necessary can be implemented. There are none that are so complex that they can't be included, understood and respected. I do ask that we decide which ones are to be used- and more can be added in later should they seem helpful and/or necessary. Note: The Content warnings are not guaranteed nor necessary to appear and can be requested to be completely absent in a game- they are just common literary elements that deepen stories that have been selected as a precautionary measure.
