About the adventure
In the Kingdom of Porrane, a succession crisis has begun to brew. The king’s spawn are numerous, with many undocumented and others vying for his throne. With the birthday of his ninth son, the King of Porrane will make a decree that could collapse his nation or birth it anew. This is a campaign drawing influence from Game of Thrones, Hunter x Hunter, Elden Ring, and Arcane. Characters should have clear goals and desires in the setting that can cause drama and good conflict. Session times and dates can be adjusted based on player availability.

Creating your character
Character creation will be done during Session Zero. Stat will be decided via a 3d6+6 drop the lowest method. The starting level with be at 3rd. Character creation may be done on pdf or through any dungeons and dragons supporting website. Homebrew is allowed under my discretion.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should have an account on discord and Owlbear Rodeo. Both sites have are free. A discord server will be provided.
What Gabriel Simpson brings to the table
I often will do character voices and utilize ambient music. I am a fan of tactical combo and tend to stick with the rules. I will provide Homebrew rules for settlement building and land management when applicable. I also enjoy giving my players magic items and downtime.
Homebrew rules
Drinking healing potions as an action provides the full benefits. We will be using Perkin’s critical hits, where you deal the maximum base damage then roll the additional dice from the critical hit. A lingering injury system may be used based on if the whole table feels comfortable with it. Homebrew classes from Loot Tavern, Ghostfire Gaming (2024), Valda’s Spire of Secrets (2024), and MCDM are allowed, as well as the 2024 Pugilist.

How Gabriel Simpson creates a safe table
I will be providing a Lines and Veils sheet for each player to fill out. I am an advocate for open communication between players and the Dungeon Master. Session Zero will consist of going over do’s and don’ts, as well as setting the expectations for each player.
