About the adventure
13th Age is an epic fantasy adventure marrying the tenets of D&D and narrative storytelling. Your character is already an accomplished hero, powerful individual having some ties to the most powerful forces in the land. The land of Dragon Empire is slowly healing from Demon Wars - an epic war against forces of hell itself. The Lich King is plotting his revenge against weakened Emperor while Elven Queen and Dwarven King focus on stopping the prophesized return of the Three - terryfing dragons once binded underneath a volcano. Prince of Shadows is mysterious as always, ready to backstab their way for their own goals. In the middle of all that chaos are Them. Individuals of great importance, heroes of the realm. They will be the Hope of the Dragon Empire - or its Doom. In this game we create a detailed world and adventures as a group. Every player adds something to the setting through their character. Thanks to One Unique Thing aspect every character comes with something special that allows us to expand upon worldbuilding! Are you the prophet of long dead god? Maybe you're the only human to be raised by dwarfs? This is further improved by Icons - people and creatures of immense influence. Are you a chosen champion of the Emperor? Maybe you were touched with the mark of Prince of Shadows? Perhaps you're a prophet of Priestess' god? The decision is up to you!
