About the adventure
Step right up to Heckna!, Hit Point Press’s carnival-horror campaign for 5e. The Revelia dazzles with sweet treats, bright lights, and crooked smiles, and its ringmaster wants you to play forever. Expect playful dread over grimdark gore: charm-soaked bargains, rigged games, puppet shows with teeth, and choices that matter. Format & Details: - D&D 5e (2014 rules) - 4 – 6 players - Level 1 start (advancing through the Revelia) - 2 – 2.5 hr weekly sessions - Beginner friendly. - Tone: PG-13 carnival horror: creepy clowns, unsettling puppets, dreamlike traps, light body horror (consent-first), minimal gore. - Your choices steer the tent’s twisted paths: win rigged attractions, bargain with enigmatic hosts, and unravel the ringmaster’s grin. Scheduling (Term-Time/Parent-Friendly) - Runs during term time with breaks for half-terms and holidays. - Sessions capped at ~2–2.5 hours and end promptly. - Open-door policy: step away as needed; we’ll fade your character safely and reintegrate smoothly. - Missed a week? Read the recap and you’re ready.
