About the adventure
There is an open spot to join Watchers in the Dark, an ongoing Monster of the Week play-by-post campaign on the Antics & Rolls server. This game uses the Powered by the Apocalypse system and leans hard into narrative-forward, collaborative storytelling. Think Supernatural and The X-Files. You’ll be joining an active team of hunters working under W.A.T.C.H. (Weather Analysis, Tracking, and Climate Hub), a secret UN-backed organization protecting Earth from the strange and supernatural. So far, the team has faced: - A Rougarou terrorizing Omega Park in Montebello, Quebec. - A Ghost in the Machine / Fomorians trying to cross over from his world and taking over technology in a small town. - A Soul-Eater in Camden, Maine that is haunting an old hotel. - Episode 4 is centered around the King in Yellow and is ongoing. What to expect: - Slow-burn horror, character-driven storytelling, and collaborative scene building. - Flexible posting pace (a few times a week). - Dark tone: ghosts, death, weirdness, and high stakes, with moments of humor and heart. Looking for: A creative, reliable player who enjoys writing in-character and engaging with others’ posts. Any playbook is welcome, though unique or unusual choices are encouraged.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hey there! I’m Gabriel, or Gabe for short (he/him). I’ve been a Game Master for about a decade, running adventures built around memorable characters, collaborative storytelling, and the kind of moments players are still talking about long after the dice stop rolling. These days, my main focus is my Dungeons of Drakkenheim campaign. I love its mix of dark fantasy, dangerous exploration, faction politics, horror, and difficult choices, and I put a lot of work into making Drakkenheim feel like a living place that reacts to the players. I’m also hoping to resume my Monster of the Week play-by-post game soon, which gives me a chance to explore a very different style of storytelling. My Twitch and YouTube channels have taken more of a backseat for now. Rather than trying to constantly produce content, I’m putting that energy into the games themselves and into Antics & Rolls, the community surrounding them. My goal is to create a welcoming space where players can get invested in their characters, enjoy each other’s company, and build stories together. I’m based in Quebec, so my English comes with a bit of French-Canadian flavour. I also love using technology to make online play as immersive as possible, whether that means detailed maps, atmospheric visuals, music, custom handouts, or tools like Dungeon Alchemist. If you enjoy character-driven campaigns, immersive worlds, meaningful choices, a bit of chaos, and a table where everyone gets a chance to shine, you’ll probably feel right at home with Antics & Rolls.
