About the adventure

Youtube Video: https://youtu.be/ahcCYn77_Y4 The nation of Belkzen stands at a crossroads. Once known only for endless war, the orc holds have begun forging a fragile future of unity and peace under the leadership of Ardax the White-Hair. But when an undead flood erupts, that future is threatened by an enemy that cannot be reasoned with, bargained with, or driven away. In this Pathfinder 2e Adventure Path, you'll journey across Belkzen as diplomats, warriors, hunters, and heroes. Earn the trust of rival orc clans, explore forgotten ruins, hunt legendary beasts, survive deadly wilderness expeditions, and stand against a growing undead apocalypse. Your choices will influence not only the fate of your companions, but the future of an entire nation. This campaign is run using TaleSpire, featuring custom-built 3D environments that allow players to explore settlements, dungeons, wilderness locations, and battlefields in an immersive virtual world. Expect a mix of roleplay, exploration, tactical combat, political intrigue, and meaningful character-driven moments. This game is perfect for players who enjoy: Rich worldbuilding and roleplay Orc culture and frontier fantasy Exploration and discovery Tactical Pathfinder 2e combat Character growth and meaningful choices High-quality visual immersion through TaleSpire Whether you're new to Pathfinder 2e or a veteran adventurer, you'll find a welcoming table where your character's decisions matter and where the story is shaped by the actions of the party.

About me

Hello! I’m Christian—Game Master, worldbuilder, and lifelong tabletop RPG enthusiast with over 30 years of experience behind the screen. Like many of us, I started with Dungeons & Dragons, but over the years my passion for deep worldbuilding, custom monsters, and immersive storytelling led me to Pathfinder 2E and the creation of my own fantasy setting, Chondara—a world I’ve been developing and refining for more than two decades. My goal as a GM is simple: create memorable adventures where players feel like their choices truly matter. I run games that blend tactical combat, rich storytelling, and player-driven decision making. Whether you're a seasoned veteran or brand new to Pathfinder, I focus on making sure every player feels comfortable, engaged, and excited to return for the next session. Outside the table, I’m also the creator behind Beast Foundry, where I design and publish Pathfinder supplements including new ancestries, spells, monsters, and mechanics. Many of my games feature original content and adventures developed through years of running campaigns and refining ideas at the table. If you're looking for a game that combines strong storytelling, meaningful player agency, and well-prepared sessions, you’ll feel right at home here. Let’s roll some dice and build an unforgettable adventure together. Check me out on this youtube link: https://youtu.be/ddqm8ZeozpM

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will begin at Level 3 and should be created prior to Session 1 using Pathbuilder 2e, we are using the Free Archetype optional rule. All official Pathfinder 2e character options are welcome unless otherwise discussed. If you're new to Pathfinder or unsure about a character concept, I'm happy to help with character creation, rules questions, and party composition through our Discord before the game begins. The Pathfinder Player's Guide for Triumph of the Tusk is available to all players and includes recommended character options, backgrounds, and campaign-specific information to help connect your character to the story. Once your character is created, we'll review it together to ensure everything is working correctly and that your character has strong ties to the campaign and the party. New Pathfinder players are absolutely welcome.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Join the Discord Server: https://discord.gg/hzFxA6uZFQ Download TaleSpire (Guest Edition): https://store.steampowered.com/app/2881860/TaleSpire__Guest_Edition/ The free Guest Edition is all that is required to play. No TaleSpire experience is necessary. Read the Triumph of the Tusk Player's Guide. This guide contains campaign-specific information, recommended character options, backgrounds, and important lore about Belkzen and its people. Choose a Faction. Each character should select one of the organizations presented in the Player's Guide and serve as that group's representative at the Flood Truce gathering. Your faction choice will help connect your character to the campaign and provide roleplaying opportunities throughout the adventure. Create Your Character in Pathbuilder 2e. Characters begin at Level 1. Please have a completed character ready before Session 1. Create a Character Who Wants to Be Here. This campaign focuses heavily on Belkzen, its people, and the future of the orc nation. Your character does not need to be an orc, but they should have a reason to engage with orc culture, participate in diplomacy, and work alongside the other representatives attending the Flood Truce. Questions? Ask! If you're new to Pathfinder 2e, TaleSpire, or tabletop RPGs in general, I'm happy to help with character creation, rules questions, and campaign preparation through Discord before the game begins.

What Christian Chaney brings to the table

My goal is to create an immersive and welcoming table where players can become invested in both the world and their characters. This campaign will be run in TaleSpire using custom-built 3D environments that allow players to explore settlements, dungeons, wilderness locations, and battlefields as living spaces rather than simple encounter maps. Areas are revealed as you explore, encouraging discovery and rewarding curiosity. While Triumph of the Tusk contains plenty of exciting combat, it is also a roleplay-heavy campaign centered around diplomacy, culture, leadership, and difficult choices. I encourage players to engage with NPCs, build relationships, and take an active role in shaping the story. Character voices are used where appropriate, though immersion and meaningful interactions are always more important than performance. I generally follow Pathfinder 2e's rules, but I don't believe rules should get in the way of fun. In most cases, Pathfinder already provides tools for creative solutions, and I enjoy helping players accomplish their goals within the framework of the game. If unusual situations arise, I'll make fair rulings and keep the game moving. Combat is run according to the intelligence and motivations of the creatures involved. Enemies will behave realistically, and poor tactical decisions can have consequences. Character death is possible, though my goal is always to create memorable stories rather than punish players. New Pathfinder 2e players and first-time TaleSpire users are absolutely welcome. I'm happy to help with character creation, rules questions, and learning the system before and during the campaign. Most importantly, this is a cooperative game. Characters should be willing to work together, support the party, and engage with the adventure. Everyone at the table deserves opportunities to contribute, shine, and help tell an unforgettable story.

Safety

How Christian Chaney creates a safe table

Triumph of the Tusk is a high-stakes campaign built around dangerous encounters, political intrigue, and meaningful consequences. That said, player comfort always comes first. Before Session 1, we’ll align on tone, expectations, and boundaries through Discord discussion. We’ll cover: Tone balance and campaign expectations Topics or themes players would prefer to avoid Cooperation and spotlight sharing This campaign includes fantasy violence, undead, betrayal, and environmental danger. Clear communication is always encouraged. Players are welcome to: Message me privately at any time Step away from the table if needed Raise concerns during or after sessions No one will ever be asked to justify their comfort level. At the same time, this is a cooperative game, and respect for fellow players is expected at all times. Everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy the experience. My goal is simple: A challenging world, a fair table, and a story players are excited to return to each week.
