About the adventure
With new technological advances at their disposal,the humans of ReiKai took to the skies, leaving all other races to struggle down below. Their egos inflated by their place in the heavens, humanity turned cruel towards those literally below them, treating the ground-folks no different than the garbage they callously rained down from above. Left behind with the natural resources, old magic, and powerful but unreliable spirits of the land as their only boons, the people below could do little to prevent their home from becoming a place full of peril and disarray. However, not all hope was lost, as the guild of Vox Populi formed to stand in defense of the people, accepting requests to help the struggling and become a force of good. Now, a new team of heroes, your party, has entered the guild; and seem determined to uncover the root of the evil that has leeched into the world and restore the balance of the world even beyond the simple quest of the guilds. If a cozy game setting inspired by Avatar the Last Airbender, Ghibli films, and Japanese culture speaks to you; or if you dream of resisting oppresive and imperialistic forces as a force of good that really impacts the world; This game would be a great fit!

About me
I've been GMing since I was 10 and there's nothing I love more. What draws me to GMing is seeing my Player´s accomplish their character's goals in a cool and satisfying way. My settings range from whimsical and Ghibli-like to dark and gritty and anywhere in between, depending on the tone my players are seeking. My table accepts every one from any place, gender, color, or identity, and I won't let intolerance slide. Creating your character
Characters will be created together during session zero, and I will provide help understanding rules and with character sheet building then. Feel free to bring a character concept to this if you would like, or think of one during, if you have any questions about the setting. Together we can discuss character concepts, how they fit into the world, and make a group you'll be happy to be a part of!

You will need to join My discord server for voice chat and have a roll20 account for maps and dice rolling to join the game.
What Katherine brings to the table
As a DM I love to create NPCs to interact with the party and I do indeed try to do voices for them, although I'm no voice actor. Also expect the rule of cool to be in use, I feel the rules are guidelines for our fun, so I will occasionally bend them a little bit to better suit the game. All of my games will be somewhat, if not fully, open world.

How Katherine creates a safe table
Lines and veils are submitted privately to the DM via a google form so everyone has a safe place to say anything that might make them uncomfortable, and I will, without indicating the individual, communicate those boundaries during session zero to the other players. Session zero will be focused on character creation, and as stars and wishes are welcome after the game, and there is an additional forum on the discord server for public discussion of stars and wishes!
