About the adventure
Welcome to the Introduction to Kindred Society Program. This chronicle is designed as a jumping-off point for Vampire: The Masquerade. We'll focus heavily on both mechanics and storytelling, making it ideal for new players who want to learn the game while experiencing the World of Darkness through their characters' eyes. While the setting's lore is deep and expansive, this game focuses on the streets of Miami rather than global metaplot. If you're looking for a chronicle centered on ancient conspiracies and setting-wide events, this may not be the game for you. If you'd rather discover Kindred society firsthand, you're in the right place. You are a newly Embraced vampire, less than five years into your unlife. Through carelessness, bad luck, poor judgment, or simple ignorance, you have violated one of the Camarilla's most sacred traditions. Normally, such mistakes are punished with Final Death. Instead, you have been sent to Miami, home of a controversial new experiment. The Introduction to Kindred Society Program, known by most participants as "Boot Camp," seeks to rehabilitate young Kindred before they become threats to the Masquerade. Under the watchful eyes of experienced vampires, you and your fellow recruits will learn how to feed, navigate Kindred politics, manage the Beast, and survive in a society that is equal parts predator, bureaucracy, and dysfunctional family. The chronicle explores themes of mentorship, responsibility, and what it means to be a good sire. How are young vampires taught to survive? Who is responsible when they fail? What role do Kindred play in the supernatural ecosystem, and can monsters create something better than the systems that made them? At my table, I encourage teamwork, roleplay, curiosity, and asking questions. Bring a character who is fun to play and fun to play alongside, and I'll provide an immersive world filled with memorable NPCs, difficult choices, and opportunities to shape your place in Kindred society. Whether you're completely new to Vampire: The Masquerade or simply looking for a fresh start, I hope to see you in Miami.

About me
Hi, my online buddies call me Eli! I'd like to be your GM. I'm almost 30, married, mixed (latino and white), and go by they/them pronouns. I’ve been GMing since 2018, specializing in D&D 5e 2014 and PbtA games on Roll20 and in person. I’ve played and/or run D&D 5e, Werewolf the Apocalypse, Vampire the Masquerade, Thirsty Sword Lesbians, Monsterhearts, Monster of the Week, Demigods, and Upriver Downriver. I run all of my games with as close to a home game vibe as possible, focusing on safety and group cohesion. All session 0's are free. That's where you decide if the game and the group are for you, so don't hold back on any questions or concerns. I also design games! I wrote a TTRPG called Final Girl (published on itch.io) and I’ve released a few modules there too. I've also published a one page TTRPG called Cat Scratch, Cat Nap in the same place. I hope to eventually publish a Locked Tomb TTRPG as well. I hope to run some Final Girl games here for other horror movie fans! Expect an inclusive, safety-forward table where we’re here to have fun in whatever form that takes. LGBTQ+ and allies welcome. If none of the games available appeal to you, please reach out! I'd love to craft a personal experience for you and your friends.

Creating your character
We'll have a session 0 that functions as both an "Expectations and Safety" review as well as a character creation session.

What eli/elisa brings to the table
I provide a safe place to learn the system, as well as an immersive world and fleshed out NPCs. I'll have maps and images on Roll20, which will also host your character sheet. I am anti-AI use in my games, so I'll be using Roll20 assets like tokens and music. Most images will be pulled from online or occasionally I'll create buildings for modern settings in the Sims. I like sticking to Rules as Written where I can, but Rule of Cool has final say in my decision making.

How eli/elisa creates a safe table
We'll have a session 0 where we create lines and veils. We'll also go over stars and wishes in session 0. From there, I'll have an open door policy and we'll debrief and decompress after each session.
