About the adventure

The world of Judicarie is a simple, massive continent divided into approximately six equal areas, like a misshapen hexagon. It's like any other landmass dotted by nations - storied by war, heroism, villainy and majesty - but its defining moment came with the Epiphany. In the Great Academy of Funeles, researchers went far beyond their means and unleashed something they could not contain - a cascade of magical energy that purged arcane magic from the world as they understood it and replaced it entirely with natural psionics and the potential for others to awaken. This event - the Epiphany - has reshaped the cultures of Judicarie as they have adapted to this new psionic potential. Maybe you were already looking for something greater than yourself, but whether you signed up for it or not, you get a tingling feeling in your spine that trouble is on the horizon...after walking for hours, looking around you recognize nothing. Where were you going? What were you meant to do? Where the hell are you?

About me

Since I started playing tabletops I've loved all the joy it brings people at a table. It's like going through a fantastical novel with a group of like-minded lovers of adventure! I've been GM-ing for about 10 years, and every session is worth the memorable experiences that I hope both I and my players receive.

Character creation

Creating your character

I've been told this style of game is "Trifecta" - characters have the Free Archetype, Ancestral Paragon, and Dual-Class options active. Free Archetype and Ancestral Paragon simply give extra feats for archetypes and ancestries, respectively. Dual-Class allows you to take two classes worth of base features, taking the best of both when things overlap (the highest proficiencies, the best health-per-level, etc.). It's a lot to consider, so feel free to reach out for help. All of the resources for pf2e are available on the Archives of Nethys website and the Pathbuilder app is convenient for putting together builds.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

I have a discord server for voice (no video required), and I will help you get into Foundry upon joining (it's free on the player side).

What William brings to the table

I try to give my players everything I would appreciate in their shoes; whether it be making interesting combats, bringing characters and settings to life, music, a compelling story - I hope to provide everything I can to making a fun experience, because we're all playing a game at the core of it.

Homebrew rules

-If you have a feature or ability chosen from several options and you haven't used it or benefited from it, you can switch out that feature or ability at the end of the session even if you couldn't normally.

Safety

How William creates a safe table

As said before, we're all here for the sake of fun - I keep my table as open as possible and make it clear that everyone is open to freely discuss what they do and don't want to see in the game. Life happens, and health and safety come before rolling dice.
