About the adventure
Adventure Time X Forgotten Realms X Fallout Build your own adventure in a subterranean world of wonder! At this table we come for the hiiinks and stay for the drama. Experience adventures that are custom tailored to you and your group. Our game world needs your ideas to grow and prosper! HIGHLIGHTS â¨Collaborative Storytelling - Your ideas shape the world we play in. â¨Human art by real people. No generative AI in sight. â¨Friendly to all LGBTQ+. I strive for a welcoming and safe table. â¨Learn to play. New system? No problem! I am a patient and passionate teacher. This campaign will offer a balanced mix of combat, exploration and roleplay. You donât need start out as an rules expert, Iâll happily guide you through learning the rules. Patience is one of my best teacher qualities. Our game world so far An apocalypse drove the ancient peoples (humans, dwarfs, elves) to seek shelter underground. There they've languished in darkness for millennia. At the surface new peoples rose from the ashes, sentient animals (ribbets, galappas, kitari, simiah, etc.) who prospered under the sun of a new age. Our adventure begins, as the gates to the underworld are thrown open and people from the surface vanish into the tunnels below. Who took them and why? Will it be peace or will it be war between the worlds above and below?

Creating your character
Characters will start the game at level 1. Build your character using the options from the Core Rulebook. I am open to homebrew suggestions. Character creation will be part of session 0. In Daggerheart, collaborative storytelling begins at character creation. You start the adventure as an established party with shared background connections. To prepare for character creation, players should come up with at least three Character Proposals. Bring some broad strokes ideas, but stay flexible on the details. Example Proposals are: A grizzled warrior on a quest for vengeance! A noble mage on the run from their family! A halfling baker seeking the most delicious recipe ever! See here for more information: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mt6UMTsscU
Claw-Wisk - A pirate captain without a ship or ocean (Katari Wordsmith Bard) Emrys - Heir to a noble family and secret practitioner of forbidden magic (Faun Primal Origins Sorcerer) Knud - A once holy warrior who lost his faith (Dwarf Pact of the Endless Warlock) Boy Monica - A shepherd without a flock (Orc Divine Wielder Seraph) The party is lost in the Underdark, trying to find their way home. In their most recent adventure they saved the dwarven city of Graklstrugh from tearing itself apart in a violent revolution.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
âThose of you who havenât played with Alchemy before: it is so cinematic, it is so moody, it is so cool.â â Spencer Stark, Daggerheart creator Alchemy VTT We'll be using a virtual tabletop, specifically Alchemy. Of all the programs to play online, Alchemy might well be the easiest to use and the prettiest to look at. Discord You will need a discord account for communication between games. New to Daggerheart? I'll happily show you the ropes. You can also learn about the Daggerheart basics here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bV2K5eoJgk

Safety
How Peter Sapperlot creates a safe table
The internet is dark and full of terrors. I wish to carve out a tiny enclave of safety and inclusion at my table. During a Session 0 we will address expectations and wishes for the campaign. We will also determine topics or tropes players do not want to encounter in their stories, so called Lines (hard boundaries) and Veils (topics that can be implied, but should not be spotlighted). During weekly sessions I will maintain an Open Door Policy. There wonât be any hard feelings or explanations needed, should you ever wish to step away from the table â temporarily or permanently. Furthermore, Alchemy offers an X-card feature. Leaving is a measure of last resort. Preferably, players use the X-card to indicate when something in the narrative makes them feel uncomfortable or unsafe. In the middle of every session, there will be short break for everyone to recharge. Before and after every session there will be short check-in, an opportunity for anyone to share how they are holding up â with regards to the game as well as in real life. As a player, I never liked tables where everybody just dashes away after the curtain falls. Sharing, naturally, always remains optional. As part of that aftercare, I will use Stars&Wishes. At the end of each session, players can award a Star to highlight a moment, other player or NPC. I will then encourage everyone to express a Wish, something they would like to see change in future sessions, or an idea they would like to become part of the shared narrative. I strongly believe in trust as the fundamental pillar of any TTRPG table. Without trust creativity canât flourish, let alone any collaborative storytelling. Therefore, I will always strive to be a patient teacher, an attentive listener and an inclusive, non-judgemental host.
