You’ll explore forgotten tunnels, battle monsters in the wilds, defend the people of Phandalin, and uncover secrets that tie the dragon’s ascent to something far older and far more dangerous lurking below. Whether you’re brand new to D&D or a seasoned player, the story is built to welcome you in and give your character room to grow, fail, triumph, and leave a mark on the Sword Coast. Expect a mix of exploration, roleplay, and tactical combat, with plenty of choices that shape how the story unfolds. You’ll face moral dilemmas, forge alliances, and decide what kind of hero you want to be when the sky freezes and the earth cracks open. This is a game for players who enjoy character‑driven storytelling, cinematic moments, and the thrill of uncovering mysteries one step at a time. And the adventure is just beginning. This will be a play-by-post game operating any/all days of the week, the more you put in the more you get out :). I would like to see minimum of a post or two a day to keep the flow going for your entire party. Combat will follow an initiative system that works well in this format to keep the flow of battle which can sometimes feel long in play by post. Initiatives are rolled. Collectively, One side goes first, then the other described at end of turn. There is plenty of combat potential however, its roleplay driven because of the format, and encounters will challenge you on all levels. We will use the up to date rule system. It follows two modular official published series merged together to allow a more sandbox feel. Will be run mostly in discord channels, although i have vtt software's, this is designed to allow anyone to play using the minimal tools so, i will be print screen dropping maps with token representation each turn so that the only tools required by you are, Dndbeyond for character set up and campaign link.
