About the adventure
There's a whole new world out there to explore! Researchers from the Silverlight facility have been sent to Roshar to study it's inhabitants. What's going on on this planet, full of so much natural energy? Discover a world wracked by Highstorms, and some kind of eternal battle between gods... This world is also home to some of the most powerful magic you've seen in the whole of the Cosmere, with so many more secrets and mysteries to be uncovered, you've stumbled upon a gold mine! Get lost in your exploration and wonderment on Roshar. You were sent just to recon and report back, but something happened to your communication system, and the people of this planet need someone to guide them out of the darkness. We can't just leave them? Play a new campaign in Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive world, with the brand new Cosmere RPG Game system. But don't worry, you don't need to know anything about this world or system, it's very friendly to new players and cosmere junkies alike. Adventure awaits!! I plan to run just a few sessions of this LTP, to get you introduced to the system, and then if you're interested we can ramp up into a larger campaign, but the main goal is to get more people into this awesome world and system :)

About me
Welcome Adventurers, one and all! My name is Connor, I've been running games in the TTRPG space for 5 years now, creating epic, story-driven campaigns tailored to give my players a story that centres around and champions them! I'm an actor and writer, so my skills there lean heavily in to my GM style - you'll get wacky voices, crazy sound effects and detailed plots. I love collaboration, making sure the game is fulfilling your needs, making sure everyone at the table is comfortable as we craft these stories together! So let's jump in! There's always a seat at the table waiting for you.

Creating your character
Please create a character sheet on your preferred system and share that with me before the session if you have access to the Cosmere RPG rulebooks, if not, I can help you create something using the 6 character paths and the Radiant Orders. Also happy to homebrew stuff as many of the other Cosmere settings don't exist yet.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A webcam and mic would be preferable for sessions, but not essential! As long as I can hear you speak on Discord, you don't need your camera on if you don't want to. Having Roll20 downloaded will also be super handy, so I can add you to the campaign there to keep track of character sheets etc. Also please have Discord downloaded, so I can add you to the group. The only thing I do require is respect for everyone else at the table. I won't tolerate bullying, anti-social behaviour or bigotry. We're all here for a good time, experiencing the fun of roleplay with friends, and anyone who tries to break that will be removed. But other than that, just bring the vibes! I'm really excited to share this campaign with you!! :)
What Connor Duvenage brings to the table
I bring my skills as an actor and writer to the table. I'll be doing all of the wacky character voices, appropriate accents and roleplay. I love having ambient music during sessions (though I'm not the best DJ for mixing!!). I'm a massive cosmere fan, and I'm ALMOST an encyclopaedia of lore, and I have a deep understanding of the world, which I'll be using to keep the campaign true and authentic, while also being able to do our own thing with it. I'm bringing all of the new rule books, world guides and player handbooks for the Cosmere RPG. Massive Rule of Cool believer, as it's a homebrew setting, the rules for me are a loose guide, and we'll do what the players and I want. Combat can be as light or intense as players are comfortable with, but I'll always try to add a unique twist or environment to interact with to keep you on your toes!
Homebrew rules
Critical Successes for Skill Checks etc, and other little bits that just enhance the play experience and don't limit the cool stuff we can do. Also homebrewing some rules for Allomancy etc which haven't been released yet (Let me know if you want to be a Worldhopper from a specific planet!) Anything we change will have a discussion about beforehand so everything is fair.

How Connor Duvenage creates a safe table
Players can expect a chill environment, that can slowly ramp up into serious roleplay as people get involved. Out-of-game, out-of-character chats can pause the game whenever necessary, I'm also open to private discourse with each player to ensure everyone's having a good time, and we can steer away from topics at a moment's notice. Super informal, friendly and fun!
