Creating your character

You can create you own character on DnDbeyond.com I could also provide a wide variety of pre-generated characters to help us dive into the core mechanics of game play. Character Creation Guidelines: Starting Level: All characters will begin at Level 1. The Darkvision Ban: The Darkvision racial ability is completely banned for all species in this game. You may play any official race, but you will not have Darkvision. Creation Timing: Please have your characters fully created and ready to go before our session begins. Where to Create: Since we will be using D&D Beyond for our virtual tabletop maps, please build your characters on D&D Beyond using the campaign link I will provide. Stat Generation: For your ability scores, please use Standard Array or Point Buy. Allowed Materials: You can use any official published D&D 5e book.

Preparing for the session

1. Create a D&D Beyond Account 2. Join our Voice Server: We will use Discord for our game's audio. Please ensure you have a working microphone and a relatively quiet environment so we can fully immerse ourselves in the eerie sounds of the temple 3. Prepare Your Level 1 Character: Please build your Level 1 character ahead of time on D&D Beyond.

What Jari brings to the table

I reward players who use cleverness to survive. I highly encourage creative problem solving. However, the environment itself is strictly unforgiving. I stick to the rules as written for the most part.

Homebrew rules

The Darkvision Ban: To maintain the intense sensory deprivation required for this survival horror module, standard Darkvision provides no benefit and is entirely banned for all species . Customized Bestiary: I use highly modified monster mechanics to fit the setting and keep veterans on their toes . Variant Encumbrance Used.
